Jericho's Fired......Again

The-Legend-Killer

Dark Match Jobber
This past week on raw Stephanie McMahon fired jericho.

I think i speak for all of up when i say.....piss of stephanie ya bitch! dont fire Jericho. Hes a good heel and a better wrestler.

I hope this is just a little thing untill Mr McMahon come back and rehires him but if it isnt im pissed so what are your thoughts?

Well I hope to high regards that you know this is just a story line. My opinion is that Chris Jericho may be turning face again. With JBL as a heel, and The Legacy as heels, Raw could use a big face while Batista is out. Chris Jericho is as great as a face as he is a heel. It all really depends if Mr. McMahon comes back as a face or a heel though what Jericho will do. Like I said in the Royal Rumble thread, I suspect Jericho is gone until the Rumble. Jericho has a great chance of coming back at the Royal Rumble and winning it all.

Jericho might even just return next week via Vince over-ruling Stephanie's decision.

It seems like the McMahon angle is really just sort of floating all over the place right now. First it seemed like Heel Steph versus Face Shane, now Stephanie is looking like a face with Vince as a looming heel, but then they're running ads for Vince's return and its a lot of face moments of his, on top of Lawler and Cole acting like they're genuinely HAPPY for Vince to return.

So really....who's the heel here? Just Jericho?

Personally, I'd like to see Jericho and HHH and maybe one or two other people get involved in a McMahon feud for WrestleMania....especially since that would mean that we wouldn't have HHH/Edge haha, but it would also give Jericho something other than just losing the Money in the Bank match.

But of course, that's after they undo the fired angle, which we all know won't last long. He's not fired...they're not pulling the sheet over any of us.

This could be a plot to turn him face, and they could use Stephanie as an Uber-Heel, and make Jericho look like the victim. But seeing as Jericho has feuded with Chena and Baptista, it is unlikely the marks will buy it

Ok, so I'm pretty sure Stone Cold will be involved in some Wrestlemania match, whether he's competing or not.

I'm getting the feeling Vince will side with Jericho and perhaps Shane and firing Stephanie as GM. She'll bring back Stone Cold and MAYBE the rumors will be correct and he'll face Jericho at mania. Call me crazy but two things are for sure looking to be coming into effect: 1) Vince will side with Jericho 2) Stone Cold will be involved in WM somehow (not counting HOF ceremony)

We have seen Jericho as a face and I like it but this whole heel thing he ot going right now is better for him. Yea he isn't as funny but his look, his walk, his demeaner is all different and he is a great heel. He is like a guy you love to hate. He reminds you at nauseum about his victorys over the rock and stone cold the same night. I think that Jericho needs to staty a face, either come back next week or he's Shane's or Vince's selection for the Rumble. He will be number 30.

If the number 30 spot fo the Rumble hasn't been selected yet, Jericho is a lock for it IMO. If he's not in the Rumble, the tournament to decide the number one contender for Cena/JBL at WrestleMania will involve Jericho is some way, shape, or form. The contract he signs with Vince will force him to wrestle whoever no matter who it is.

I doubt he's going to go face personally. He's spent 2008 as the top heel, are they really going to counteract that this close to Mania? I just think they'll use this as a means to start a McMahon fued for Mania.

Also, Legacy just seem to fighting themselves and JBL/HBK will go on after the title match in 2 weeks, so that leaves Jericho as the Raw heel for Mania

I think this firing could possibly move Jericho to another brand or like what everybody is saying him staying on RAW & either turning Face or staying Heel & another McMahon feud is starting up. It wouldn't be a bad idea & since the World Heavyweight Title picture is already crowded with guys like Cena, Orton & JBL it would make since to move him over to another brand like Smackdown so he can add some more spark to the WWE Title picture.

I don't see him leaving Raw considering he is the number 1 heel. Yes they got Orton, but he gets cheered when he doing heel things. He's not a true heel. Jericho is the only one on Raw that gets real heel heat. Most likely they are doing a Jericho vs McMahon for Wrestlemania. Either Shane or Vince will be his opponent.

Umm i dont know what you where doing but last night randy was not getting cheered it has been along time sice randy has been cheered. But I think it is going to Be a battle over the show thing like McMahon VS McMahon with Vince having to have Jericho to help him
:flipa:

It's tough to see what direction the E is going in with this. They keep floating that Steph is a heel, then make her seem like a face. Likewise with Vince upon his return, will he be heel or will he be face.

Another outcome of this scenario, Jericho is shipped to smackdown. Now with Vickie Guerrero, Edge, Big Show, Chavo, Koslov, and the impending return of Christian presumably heel, it looks Like Smackdown is almost too heel heavy for Jericho to find a niche to fill there. Jericho is without question a better heel then face, and to return to face after a short time as heel would be meaningless at this point.

The ultimate end game could be that we do indeed an ultimatum placed on Jericho to get his job back. With HBK looked to be locked in a pointless feud with an aging JBL, Jericho might become the next best option to face the undertaker at Wrestlemania 25, and that could paly a part in his return to a roster.

I still think Vince will come back with Jericho at his side and push Stephanie out of the way. A pissed off Steph will turn to Stone Cold for help, and Shane will most likely side with his dad, if he is involved at all. I could see this end up being the male b. females, with steph and linda rivaling shane and vince with stone cold along with the girls and jericho along with the guys.

Well we all know that this is a work but this could end up making a really great storyline and feud. Chris Jericho and Stephanie never got along so maybe this will end up being a major feud. A possible returning Vince or even Shane could side with Jericho and rehire him and then could go on to feud with Stephanie and a wrestler of her choice.

Jericho's new found heel character mixed with Vince's ability to be hated for everything he does could work well together. Or even a brother vs. sister war, with Shane backing Jericho could make Raw interesting.

Another option would be to move Jericho over to Smackdown now. I don't know if the WWE would do that since Raw only had 2 good heel contenders(JBL & Randy Orton)but this could be an option. Jericho would be able to have good feuds/matches with the likes of Hardy, HHH, Kennedy, ect and it would liven the Smackdown mainevent up. But with rumors of Christian going to Smackdown, I don't know if it would make Smackdown's mainevent to crowded but since Jericho has a history with Christian it could still work out. All I know is that the WWE has the opportunity to make this angle semi-good so I hope they don't screw it up.

I like the direction the WWE is going with this although I do think that there are people out there who believe he was actually fired. He belongs on RAW for now and still as a heel. He makes a great heel who is hated by the fans. His promos are awesome, and he has great in-ring talent. He should be number 30 in the rumble unless the WWE has another surprise for us. I don't think Christian at the rumble is the way to go, not for the 30 pic anyway. He is the favorite to win the rumble now. He can have a heel feud with Randy although the whole Legacy thing might not make that possible for a while. Chris is ideal for RAW, he belongs there. I'm sure he could have great feuds with Taker, Edge, HHH, Hardy and Smackdown could use another big name but for now I like him on RAW. Besides Christian will probably go to Smackdown anyway. Creative really has to think hard on this one and I hope they don't drop the ball. Keep Jericho as the suit wearing egotisticle heel for now, it's working.

Now there you have one hell of a point. Jericho is one hated son of a bitch witch is great because Orton cant be the top heel for now with the legacey because it would be too much work fueding with top superstars and helping the legacy cheat win matches. JBL is just hated. Not in the heel way hes just a wanker and a terrible wrestler. Jericho is a perfict top heel hes great on the mic and one hell of a wrestle so he will be back next week with vince
:)

Well i have heard he might becoming to SD. Which is a dream but i don't think it would benifit him and Edge and Christian. It would be ok if one turned face but if there all heel it would be to crowded with the other heels like Koslov and HHH.

Anyways i don't know what is in store for him now. Maybe he will vs some one from SD at Mania. I don't know seriously. I am hoping a face turn because while his Heel thing is great he is just repeating the same promo's and stuff like that. As people have said if wuld fresh up some feuds for the future and could work well.

Well, this angle is intruiging, but at the same time I feel as if not even the WWE knows where they are going with this. Seriously, who exactly is the heel in this feud? Is it Stephanie, Jericho or Vince? I'm dumbfounded at the moment. As for the firing of Chris Jericho, well I hope this is the beginning of a feud with Stephanie McMahon. I remember predicting a while back that Chris Jericho should face Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania 25. I mean, who wouldn't want to see that? It'd be a great match. I can't think of anyone else Jericho could face at the big event as I want the Undertaker to face Umaga.

I seriously won't be surprised if Vince rehires Chris Jericho next week on Raw. I pray to God that he doesn't move to Smackdown though. Smackdown is already known as heels galore, and Jericho won't fit in well due to the amount of heel talent on the blue brand. Raw is perfect for Jericho at this point, because he's one of, if not the best heels on Raw right now. Not to mention he still has a few feuds left with Rey Mysterio, Kane, Batista and a proper feud with CM Punk.

In fact, a brother vs sister rivalry between Shane and Stephanie McMahon would be great. At Wrestlemania, have them both choose a partcipant each for bragging rights of Monday Night Raw. So, if Shane wins, he gets to run Raw and vice versa. Have Stephanie pick Jericho and have Shane pick Mysterio. Vince can be the special referee, that way everyone is involved and satisfied. I do not want Chris to turn face again either, because he wasn't a babyface not that long ago and works better as a heel, in my opinion. This whole "Jericho is fired" angle really is interesting though.

Well what's wrong with having 2 heels in the same feud. It's happened in the past. Ideally in a feud you have a face and a heel but theres nothing worong to have to heels in a feud. There would be 2 people the fans hate, and fans will tune in to watch just because they hate Steph and Jericho. In this instance it's Jericho who is hated, and Steph is trying to play both sides. If you think about it, Steph is a face here. She is trying to be a hard ass but giving Punk 2 chances for the IC title and firing the guy everybody hates makes here a face. Of course she has attitude about her but she is liked more than hated. Jericho on the otherhand is a guy everybody hates. He is not the heel the fans like ala The Rock, Stone Cold, HHH. He is simply the heel everybody detests. Showing off your victories over fan favorite Shawn Michaels, claiming you should be champion, and the way he won his last 2 championships definately Class A heel material.

While I'm 99.99% sure that Chris Jericho's "fired" storyline is going to last all of 1 whole week, barring Mr. McMahon not just saying "He's not fired, but won't return until the Rumble". The fact is, I doubt he'll end up anywhere other than where he's at.

BUT.. if he were to go somewhere..

E.C.W.: I know it's a stretch, and it's way out of Jericho's league, by that I mean below. But the fact is, Chris Jericho on Smackdown would be like adding a goldfish to a Shark tank. Smackdown has way too much unused viable talent, that Jericho would either take someone's spot and push them aside, or he'd become a mid-card talent and ultimately forgotten about.

If he transfered to E.C.W., he could become a face and if people recall, he was in E.C.W. before. Who better to feud with Jack Swagger, than a face Chris Jericho?! That'd be the greatest challenge to date for Mr. E.C.W. Champion, Jack Swagger, and it'll give him great promo experience.

Alas, I'm quite sure Jericho is still Raw bound.. but if, only if.. I'd love to see Jericho return to the Lionheart stage of his persona and dawn the E.C.W. trunks one more time. It'd definately help a brand that just got a major boost tonight already.

This storyline is the most entertaining to me because I'm very interested in what they're going to do with Jericho. Unlike a lot of other people, I don't see Vince bringing Jericho back. I think he'll put Shane in charge of Raw and, just to piss off Stephanie, Shane would bring Jericho back, as a face, and have him win the rumble to face... well, I don't know who yet. If Jericho comes back as a face, he'd need to go against a heel at Wrestlemania and there's no way that's going to be John Cena. And that's kind of making me think that possibly HBK would become champion as a heel because of JBL. I doubt that will happen though. But, I do see Jericho winning the Rumble, as I predicted right after it happened.

See but to me, my problem is that there is no definitive faces in this feud. Chris Jericho is one of the heels in this feud, and I don't think anyone can doubt that. Stephanie McMahon seems to be sitting on the fence. She's done things like giving CM Punk multiple chances at the Intercontinental Title that make fans cheer her, but she also made her brother Shane leave Raw and seems to be worrying about losing her spot as the General Manager of Raw.

As far as Vince goes, well we don't know whether he's coming back as a face or not. He seems to be "buddy's" with Chris Jericho as Y2J is looking forward to the return of Vince, possibly implying that Vince is returning as a heel. If he does so, then all 3 participants in this feud are all heels. Unless they find a way to turn Stephanie into full babyface mode.

I'm fine with 2 heels in a feud, just as long as it also has a definitive babyface though.
