Yeah, you're completely wrong. Well, not completely, but a lot wrong. It's been reported that management isn't totally happy with him filming the game show, especially since he is so close to the end of his contract and he's walked away before.
Now that I've covered where you were right, it's time to take on where you were wrong:
for the past few weeks, we have seen Jericho slowly slip from grace, culminating in Evan Bourne's clean pin of him last night on the PPV. obviously, this is punishment for that incident, but when will it end?
Jericho is not slipping from grace. He's always been willing and able to put over younger guys and is doing it again. Jericho is an established veteran whose mic work can always keep him over as a heel. This is in no way punishment, and you are a blind mark to even consider that. Jericho is being trusted to help make someone getting a monster push looks good. I would consider that an honor or compliment, definitely not punishment.
clearly, Jericho is getting frustrated by being made to look like a jobber and someone who just can't do anything right. i am afraid that they are going to bury him so much, people will eventually stop caring about his character.
What the fuck is showing you that he's frustrated, a jobber, or someone who can't do anything right? I didn't see it, but I heard good things about his match last night, which I'm sure wasn't a squash, therefore he didn't job. Now pay attention because this could get complicated, there is a difference between jobbing and putting someone over. Jericho put Bourne over, in fact this is from his Twitter last night:

Had the best match I've had in months tonight. Bourne is the real deal...and I must destroy him.
Yep, he sounds really frustrated. Jericho's mic work and body of work will make sure the fans will care about him for years to come. This topic is clearly over-the-top and plain incorrect speculation and shows an obvious lack of understand of basic booking concepts. Well done, sir.
