Jasmine

That's true. 20 was such a big deal.

:disappointed: Let me recap the Age breakers for you.

18: Jack all. Nothing changes. No more curfew, but most the time I never had one to begin with. I was never typically out late, and I didn't smoke. Thereby turning 18 had no reflect on me.

21: Another Day. Seriously. I don't drink, and even if you do drink.. its no longer fun when you can do it legally, or so I'm told. Yes, you go out, you get smashed, legally, and you're happy with being a dumbass. Then, reality sets in.. its no longer thrilling, because its no longer adventurous.

The ability to buy lottery tickets. Why the hell is this something you can only do when you're 21? So I can smoke upon turning 18.. I can kill a man while being signed into the Government. But I can't scratch a fucking ticket, to see if I won a prize? Who wrote these laws?

You can buy lottery tickets at 18 here.

Well then Iowa is just fucked up for reasons other than the obvious. It did always annoy me that I couldn't buy a scratch off ticket, a powerball ticket, or even go in a casino until I was 21.

I get the casino bit. They give out free drinks in ours. But anyone should be allowed to buy a scratcher, or a powerball ticket. Not that they're useful, only old people win anyways. :lmao:

That's true. THey're thinking about opening 18 year old casinos here. They already have strip clubs without alcohol here.

Ah. Around here they don't do the stamp thing, which seems pointless to me. Theyre going to get in somehow, just don't let them drink. Wow a 17 year old sees a naked woman. Like he can't do that anywhere else.

Well, to be honest I was in the company of people over 21. So me getting in via age 17 could still be a no-no, but it happened. And I was never and am still not a fan of strippers.

I don't get the point. I'm not going to pay you to dance for me. Its your job, if you wish to strip, strip. My money is staying in my pocket. Unless we're going on a date, at which case I have the moron gene that turns on and makes me assume "the guy should always pay."

I've never gotten the appeal of it either. It just seems like a cheap way to think you're actually getting something. I've never been to a strip club and more than likely won't ever be. I have that same moron gene.

I think with my mindset if I'm lucky enough to get someone to go somewhere with me, make them have as easy a time as possible with it.

LOL, well still all kidding aside the girl should pay too sometimes. Chivalry makes no sense to me. It goes against equality doesn't it? :p

I'm all for equality. Most of the time I'm out with friends of mine I pick up the tab because it's not like I'm going to miss the cash.

Nah, I've made enough playing poker and messing around in stocks that it's really not something I'll miss. I think of it this way. I was flat broke and I was happy. I made a decent amount of money and I'm still as happy as I was before. If I lose every dime I have, I'll still be happy.

*has never been and will not go*

besides id look like a huge jackass in there with my back looking how it does. Pretty much explains it all really lol

I won't be going either. If nothing else I'd rather be able to get one from someone that you don't have to pay for. You know, like a girlfriend or something close to it?
