Jack Swagger Arrested on DUI/Marijuana Charges

In Swaggers defence he is shit.

JBL staking out an illegal border crossing and kicking Mexicans back across it was much better than anything he's done so far.

My brother said Jack Swagger is dull and bland and he likes Coldplay. Fucking Coldplay.

WWE has been fairly lenient on marijuana policies. Sure, they suspend guys, but it's not like Orton's career has taken too much of a beating. But Swagger got a DUI, and that's pretty terrible no matter how you slice it.

I know, I know, driving while high on weed isn't nearly as dangerous while driving drunk, but it's still a DUI.
Swagger isn't Orton. Orton got away with that crap because of how popular he is, Swagger isn't popular at all and the WWE feels they can live without him. Which is proven by the constant rumors of him getting canned and how often in the past he has gotten jobbed out. Swagger is no Orton and won't get that room to work.

He shouldn't have driven with under the influence, I was more talking about not doing anything for smoking weed. R-Truth got suspended for it and he wasn't driving. If you are not doing while driving, during a WWE show or around kids...Whats the big deal? Tobacco and Booze can do worse to you and nobody cares about that.

I'm not even going to pretend to care, tbh. Apart from his old music, nothing about Swagger is remotely interesting. His recent new gimmick and angle had potential, but it's still in the early stages. Had this happened in a few months, where his angle and gimmick was more over, then I'd be a bit annoyed. But now? Not so much.

Have Ziggler cash-in on Del Rio at some point and rematch at WM. There's still enough time to build a storyline between those two. Not that it'll change the fact that the WHC title match will be the 4th main event and be over in 10 minutes or anything.

Orton didn't get away with anything. He got caught, he served his suspension, and he came back. It's not the WWE's fault that he was so popular they had to continue their push for him. The same can't be said for Swagger or R-Truth.

It's against the law in most states, that's why. I wonder if it would be any different if the wrestler's permanent address was in Colorado or one of the states that now has legalized marijuana, but regardless it's still illegal in most of the country. The WWE can't exactly pick and choose which illegal drugs they punish their wrestlers for and maintain the image they want from their Wellness Policy.

Because marijuana is still illegal. Whether you think it's right or not, it still is illegal. And when your employees are in front of the cameras every night, promoting your reputation, you have to make it appear as if you're not willing to accept illegal activities in your organization (and yes, I realize the hilarity of that coming from a sport with massive amounts of steroids and HGH...still, it's the perception of the company).

Quite frankly, I do not believe the WWE cares if their wrestlers smoke weed. They do care about presenting a family friendly show and promoting an atmosphere of legal compliance. If marijuana was legal or if the 24/7 media did not exist, I doubt the WWE would ever do anything.

Swaggs was merely going to drop off his drugs, and be done with them. WTH else you gana do with all that time off?

Zeb should totally incorporate this into a promo:

My friend, a REAL American, Jack swagger was arrested last night by a one officer Lopez.....

Milk it WWE. Contrive it in his angle any way possible and MILK IT!

There is no other way he is gonna be interesting besides a controversy. Make him call it a Democratic conspiracy or some shit.

Fuck I don't care, what he did, what's done is done; let him run with it.
