I've never cried during a movie

Watch The Other Guys. Definite tears, but of sheer constipation at the lack of everything nice in it.

Get the fuck out of here man. 9/11 came out of NOWHERE. It wasn't even a good movie. The plot was overdone, the acting wasn't very good, and the ending was just pulled out to shock us with no premise. Did I miss something that hinted to it being 9/11?

Marley and Me was 100x better and more sad.

Haha you do have a point. But it was still pretty tear jerking, the blond was smoking hot, I felt sorry for the small girl all throughout the movie, and I can relate to the whole dad sucking at life part. I would have been pleased with the movie if it ended at him staring out the movie and came on here saying the same thing. When he died, it literally put me into tears.

I've never seen Marley and Me, I'll give it a watch when I can.

I felt sorry for the girl, but the movie itself just wasn't very good. Marley and Me is the only movie that has ever given me a tear in my eye.

crying at a movie that exploited 9/11 for a plot twist and starred robert pattinson

Let me just say the movie wasn't great by any meas.

That said:

Yea, it came out of nowhere. Just like it came out of nowhere the day it actually happened. If anything it would be more far more accurate from an emotional and storytelling standpoint for there to be absolutely no "hint" of the 9/11 attack anywhere in the film. In that way the audience is put in exactly the same place as the characters –surviving and otherwise.

It's a lose/lose proposition. Go into the film knowing and trying to suffer through the maudlin inevitability or have it as a "twist" that people condemn for being a gimmick.

On my first date with one of my girlfriends we decided to stay in and watch 7 lbs. At the end I was totally silent and she asked me what was wrong and in the sobbingest most emotional voice I was able to utter the words "fuckin' jellyfish". She laughed and then let out one of those girly AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW noises. I never felt so masculine in my entire life.

The only time I cried during a movie was when I watched Alien vs Predator. The power went out. When I realized I lost the money for the movie ticket, I cried. A lot.

This may seem a bit obvious on a wrestling forum, but the end of The Wrestler gets me everytime. That and Shane, knew what was coming but it's just the boy screaming after him, "If you knew he was there you would have licked him wouldn't you Shane!?" Sad times

The only movie i've cried during was Titanic, that is by far the best and most emotional movie I have ever seen. If you havent seen Titanic then see it, if you have then you already know what I mean.

Wasnt a big fan of Remember Me, probably just because Robert Pattinson was in it. Also havent seen Marley and Me but I dont think I can bring myself to. Killing people in movies makes me sad, killing off a dog or cat.......I will leave.

Its rare that a film makes me cry. But The Green Mile does pretty much every time I watch it. Emotional as fuck ending, perfectly acted.

I have cried during several movies. Laugh if you want to but I don't see what's wrong with crying during a movie. If the movie connects with you and actually makes you cry then it is a good movie (most of the time).

I remember crying during Forrest Gump, Titanic, Toy Story 3, The Truman Show, and more.
