SHALL WE BEGIN?

The November 24th episode of Monday Night Raw did a 3.3 cable rating, up dramatically from last week's 2.9. The 9PM to 10PM hour did 3.19 and the 10PM to 11PM hour 3.39.

This was most likely due to the return of John Cena and the Survivor Series fallout

but...

Czena sux!!!

What my amigo is trying to say is...

SHUT THE FUCK UP HATERZ!! VINCE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!! THE WWE NEEDS A CHAMP WHO DRAWS, AND THAT CHAMP... IS... HEEEEEERRRRRREEEEE!!!

JEEEEEAAAAAAWWWNNNN CEEEEEEEEENAAAAAAAA!!!

At least I think that's what he's trying to say.

Specially since it hit the 3.39 mark in the second hour with the impending Czena appearance. I would love to see ***** try to defend this logic. Punk sux. Jeritron sux.

Czena....does??...not?? sux???

What are you talking about!? With Edge back, the ratings are gonna be huge!! Also, not giving away spoilers, but SD!'s looking pretty good the next couple of weeks.

I think this is due to Punk's winning a singles match. People called everyone they knew and spread the word that WWE was smart again by letting Punk, the greatest wrestler of all time, be back on top. The fans quit waxing their bottles of turtle wax and turned Raw back on. The strike is over!

must be so. so much for getting vengeance on Orton. No. fuck all that. I would rather go after the IC title that means nothing

Oh don't worry. CM Punk, the real people's choice will get what he wants. Seriously, do you think those people are cheering Orton because they like him? Hell no. They're cheering because after Punk gets his 37th shot at him, Orton will be gone. They're simply enjoying him before he's ground into dust. You just wait until the rumble that comes. It'll be epic, complete with finger snapping goodness.

yeah itrs true cena was the reason people tuned in. they tuned in to see if he had a sixth move, but the sixth was just a comination of 1 and 5.

In translation Czena Suxz oney kno 5 movez!

The day Big Wes was banned... ONe of my first memeories of WZ was being red repped by Wes about me respecting Cena's contributions.

You left something out my friend. The Monday Night football broadcast this week was down. Thusly meaning that since the game stopped being interesting that people turned to wrestling. Let's see if they could have said that if a top tier game with playoff implications would have been on. And yes Cena sux, but he did not help the ratings. MNF did.

Psh..

We all know that the only reason MNF ratings were down was because Cena returned. Cena drew those fans away.

Cena > MNF

The only way that WWE will ever beat Monday night football is if the MNF game is the Detroit Lions vs the Seatle Seahawks. Then on RAW the mainevent would be John Cena vs Randy Orton vs Batista vs Chris Jericho in a elimination match for a VACANT World title. It's almost impossible for that to happen. But they'd beat MNF then.

Have to disagree with MNF. The Packers winning would have made a 3 way tie in their division, and the Saints have a high powered offense. High scoring games are fun to watch. MNF was an entertaining game this week with some playoff implications. Cena is a big draw, and coming off a major PPV, I didn't expect anything less than this. The key thing is though, can tehy sustain it. I've always thought that it's not the ratings of one show that matter, but the week after. It would seem to me that it's not about can you get them to watch once, but can you get them to come back.
