Monday Night Raw results

Shane McMahon opens the show in the ring as he has an important announcement.

Shane McMahon- Ladies & Gentlemen. We have a new General Manager. Due to last night at Wrestlemania this man has now officially retired. Please introduce our new general manager of RAW. John Bradshaw Layfield.

JBL's music hits as the crowd is booing him while his limo comes out with him in it. JBL then goes to the ring.

JBL- Thank you Shane. As the new General Manager, I will lead RAW back to the promise land that it once was in. I will be a partial GM even though I have had some personal rivalries with some of the guys in the back.

Suddenly HBK's music hits as he comes down to the ring.

HBK- JBL. Did you just say that you would be partial. That's like a squirrel changing somebody's oil on their car. It's not likely. My predictions would be that you are gonna try to screw Rey Msterio over since he did beat you last night. As a matter of fact if i'm not careful you might screw me over since I supposedly didn't do enough to gain you the World Heavyweight Championship.

JBL- I suggest you be careful Shawn. Anyways tonight will be the starting of a tournament to crown a new number one contender for Randy Orton's WWE Championship. The matches for tonight will be Shawn Michaels vs Batista & Rey Mysterio vs John Morrison. Next weeks matches will be Triple H vs Kane & Christian vs Mike Knox. Also tonight The Colons will defend their tag team championships against Cryme Tyme.

Match 1: Melina, Kelly Kelly & Mickie James defeated Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes & Natalya after both Natalya & Rosa turned on Beth.

We then cut to the backstage area where Santino Marella is in JBL's office. JBL asks what Santino wants & he replies that he wants to face good competition. JBL then says that Santino will face Kane. Santino walks out of the office terrified.

Match 2: John Morrison defeated Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio with The Moonlight Drive to move on to the next round of the number 1 contenders tournament.

We cut to the backstage area where Todd Grisham is standing by with Batista.

Todd Grisham-Tonight Batista you will befacing Shawn Michaels in the first round of the number 1 contenders tournament to face Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at Backlash.

Batista- Well Todd. Tonight is step number 1 towards redemption for what Randy Orton did to me a while back & becoming world champion once again. Orton I hope that your panicing cause I will win this tournament & beat your ass at Backlash to win the WWE Championship.

Match 3: World Tag Team Championship. The Colons def Cryme Tyme after Carlito hit JTG with The Backstabber. The two teams then show respect towards eachother after the match.

We then cut to the backstage area where Santino is terrified til Rosa comes up & gives him a kiss to gain back his confidence.

Match 4: Kane def Santino Marella in 35 seconds after hitting Santino with the Chokeslam.

We cut to JBL's office where he has announced that at Backlash Rey Mysterio will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Cody Rhodes.

Main Event Match: Shawn Michaels def Batista with Sweet Chin Music after a long match.



ECW Results

ECW opens up with GM Teddy Long & ECW Champion Jack Swagger are in the ring & they talk about how the ECW Championship Match was an exciting match.
Evan Bourne then interrupts & announces that he wants to face the winner of the Jack Swagger vs Finlay ECW Championship Match at Backlash. Teddy Long says that he has his wish but Evan Bourne will be in tag team competition tonight as he teams up with DJ Gabriel to face the team of Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder.

Match 1: Tyson Kidd def Gregory Helms with The Springboard Elbow Drop after an exciting match filled with high spots.

Match 2: DJ Gabriel def Paul Burchill after hitting Burchill with The Top Rope European Uppercut.

Match 3: Mark Henry & Vladimir Kozlov def the newly reunited Jung Dragons(Jimmy Wang Yang & Jamie Noble) after Henry hit Yang with The Worlds Strongest Slam.

Main Event Match: Jack Swagger def Finlay with The Gutwrench Powerbomb to retain The ECW Championship.


Smackdown Results

Smackdown opens with new World Heavyweight Champion John Cena in the ring. He talks about winning Vickie Guerrero for himself & says that there are no hard feelings between him & Edge.
Edge then comes out & says than after Vickie tried to screw him. He says that Cena can do whatever he wants to her cause he does not care for her one bit. Vickie then says that John Cena will team up with Edge to face The Big Show & new Smackdown Superstar Chris Jericho in the main event tonight.

Match 1: Maryse def Maria after hitting her with the DDT to retain the Divas Championship.

We cut to the backstage area where Vickie Guerrero announces that MVP will defend his United States Championship tonight against Shelton Benjamin.

Match 2: The Brian Kendrick w/Ezikiel Jackson def R-Truth with The Kendrick after Ezikiel Jackson distracted R-Truth.

We cut to the backstage area where Eve Torres is interviewing The Miz. Torres asks Miz about his feelings on the tag team match at WM 25. Miz says that if it weren't for Morrison screwing up then we would be the unified tag team champions.

Match 3: MVP def Shelton Benjamin with The Drive By Kick to retain the United States Championship.

Match 4: CM Punk & Jeff Hardy def The Miz & Matt Hardy after Punk hit Miz with the GTS.

Main Event Match: John Cena & Edge def Big Show & Chris Jericho after Cena hit Jericho with the FU.

Vickie Guerrero then comes out to announce that at Backlash John Cena will defend his World Heavyweight Championship in a fatal 4way match against Edge, Big Show & Chris Jericho.
