I don't want to stir anything up but I want some honest answers here, do some people think the infractions on here are kind of ridiculous?

Some guy started a ridiculous topic and some other guy left a ridiculous comment in the same topic under the Old School Wrestling section and I replied "what is this a spoof thread or something? " to which I received an infraction. I found it really harsh as my comment was directly to the subject matter and the post above.

It's not the only time I've received what I deem an unfair infraction but shouldn't we be able to either edit our posts (say if we haven't elaborated enough) and or question the infraction?

I'm sure this is said already, but I'm not scrolling down to read them.

Basically, WZ Forums' policy on spam is as strict as any forum I've ever been on.

What you posted wasn't contributing to the conversation, because you derailed the topic of discussion by making an idle statement as to the absurdity of the OP's topic.

Once you receive an infraction, you can question it, but you'll be met with a 'please read our rules on spam' response from one of our esteemed moderators.

I used to moderate the Old School forum (Lariat for mod!), and I would have warned you if it were your first spam post. An infraction implies this was more than one occasion where you spammed in a non-spam forum, hence the infraction. Also, I would have deleted your post and told you I deleted it and to not post spam anymore.

Morale of the story, no idle comments in non-spam sections. All it does is make others put them, and derails a potential thread into the trash.

I think the infraction was harsh and I did say so but it seems my opinion means nothing.

It really doesn't.

That's because it doesn't mean much. If the infraction was borderline or close then it might mean something but this is pretty cut and dry. Your previous record with infractions doesn't help you either.

In this case, you should be thanking our staff for not banning you from posting or putting you in the Prison as opposed to bringing more attention to yourself.

Well, it looks like Yaz isn't happy to just give me red rep with giant pony pictures in it, he's also decided to give me an infraction with no real explanation other than he's unhappy that I'm ignoring him and have shown him up.

This post obviously wasn't spam. It was my trying to clarify a comment I'd made that someone had taken out of context.

This infraction was given out of spite, and out of context. This wasn't meant to clear up the board or help fix things, this was meant to be insulting and attempt to push me off the board. The fact that he says "Love and Tolerance" underlines and makes this obvious, as well as the negative rep and the threats he's made on me, and the disgusting things he's said.

So if I disappear for a few days, you'll know why. I've got to go about getting this reversed.
