IMPACT Wrestling LD for 05.10.12

Fair enough.

Also TNA has been boring me lately. Roode isn't doing it for me at all as champion and once Storm didn't win at Lockdown it's like the air got sucked out of the show. That and the re-focus on Hogan hasn't helped. RVD vs. Roode comes off like a pure filler PPV, much like Over the Limit is going to be which is why it doesn't really get me very fired up either. I was hyped up for Lockdown and Mania.

Not sure who they could find.. and I hate to say it, but TNA needs some new announcers. Tenay and Tazz just aren't getting it done for me.. Tenay in particular.

anybody else miss the hardy face paint? the eyes painted onto his eyelids always looked pretty cool to me i wonder how much time it takes him to do all the crazy facepaint

I don't think it ever was. Not a good sign that I haven't missed a show in years and I'm not 100% sure if that's right or not.

Gotta say, much as I love this company, they've done that for years and years.

That and the fact they often wait until two weeks prior (often the week prior) to a PPV to "announce" the matches. I was always a fan of the matches being announced/agreed to earlier, so that the weeks prior to the PPV event the story builds. They do it backwards.

It wouldn't surprise me if Roode did not make it out of the next open fight night with the title but I am not sure is going to take it.

That's one thing I don't get about that night: why wouldn't everyone challenge Roode? If you MUST fight, why not challenge Roode every time, even if he has to fight like 8 times a night?

I honestly tune out 90% of the announcing on wrestling shows. Always have. The only time I really payed attention was when Bobby Heenan was still working with WCW.

How so? And, actually I am working toward majoring in accounting.

TNA's PPV's cost $30. You're saying if it was $30 cheaper ($0), that you'd "buy" it. How exactly do you "buy" something that is free? "Buying" means you actually part with money.

It's one of the things I complain about most: sometimes you need to slow down and explain things instead of just hoping your fans will get it.
