IMPACT Wrestling LD - All Dates

I've been enjoying the show thus far but TNA really just can't project that big event feel.

The arena doesn't do it any favors. It's just hard to get fired up about the same arena you see every week with about 800 people there. It also doesn't help that none of the matches feel big.

I can't stand the vide at Universal. Just terrible.

I binge watched all the shows from Slammiversary until now in 4 weeks, so all this matches kinda feel big to me in a booking standpoint. Booking isn't really a big problem in Impact. At least not for the main event matches on the card.

I don't know if I like the placement of an interview segment where Bennett essentially plays bitch for his wife and then goes out for his own match. Shouldn't he had been more focused on his own affairs and facing a monster like Moose? Nitpicking I guess.

Rex/Edwards is a cool match, both being Killer Kowalski disciples. I hope Eddie wins, but I doubt it happens.

So is the deal going to be all matches with the Grand Championship on the line will have the extended rounds? Five minute rounds are far better than three. Each round gets more time to develop, and fifteen minutes is a much more acceptable length for title match if it goes into the final minutes.

Does TNA make all the signs for the audience? They all seem to be the a similar style and as if they were created using the same marker set.

I mean, I guess that might be why, but even promo-wise, I feel like he just isn't translating over.

Well his whole character is basically "I used to be in WWE and now I'm just a man" and that's not enough to make anything work. Again, as is almost always the case with people who complain about their character etc in WWE: once they leave, it turns out that there's not much to them on their own and that's why they had a gimmick.
