Impact Support Club House

The bathrooms thing was known months ago when they announced they would be holding BFG there. Not sure why that's being made a big deal right now.

Because a few months ago, most fans didn't know about it and TNA hadn't had to cut half of their roster and turn into a glorified Canadian independent yet?

Yes, they did. When they announced that the Pavillion was the location, multiple stories were out about how the building was so old it didn't have plumbing, so portapotties would be brought in. That's exactly what they did. They deserve plenty of shit—all pun intended—for cutting their roster, but faulting them for the bathroom situation is disingenuous.

If I'm a fan, I'm not going to check on the plumbing situation before buying a ticket to a show. There are certain things you take for granted as a fan and I'm not faulting the fans for not knowing it in advance. I will however fault TNA for being such a mess that it's the best place they can afford.

He's better off leaving. Again, they squandered his return and failed to rally behind him as a pillar of their legacy.

Apparently the NXT contract was way lower than what TNA offered him.

Apparently significantly lower. Like the difference between five and six figures.

Morrison flying through the air from off camera to tackle Alberto at the beginning of their brawl is the best thing to happen on Impact in years.

That whole brawl was great. I'm not a Johnny fan at all, but this whole feud with Patron has such a big fight feel. I'm way more invested in this than I was Johnny v. Drake.

I liked it but it was a little too long.

It also fell into one of my pet peeves about wrestling shows - what was supposed to be the main event? Are we supposed to accept that Impact did not have one booked at all? It is something that RAW does all of the time too.

It is a simple little thing that NXT revitalised and Smackdown took on board to some extent.

Agreed there, too. I actually thought that to myself watching it, but it was minor, so I didn't bother posting about it. Plus, I was on delay. Seemed trivial, but those things certainly add up over two hours.

The sticker over the title is horrible. Indie promotions have beterblooking titles. Hope this year coming up is better than this year.

I'm pretty sure I read recently that they're indeed, again, re-doing the titles. The plates (they're actually metal plates, not stickers) covering the GFW logos are just temporary.

Which one? I'd love for them to go back to the original TNA World Heavyweight Championship design.

I loved that belt. Almost as much as the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Those, to me, are arguably the most beautiful championship titles in company history. They have an instant regality to them.

Well Del Rio and Paige are broken up, hopefully for good. It was around the time they started dating that both of them got crazy. Hopefully this will lead to better performances and behaviors from ADR.

Enone Lashley was carrying. Idk how to pist pictures but the belts you postedare really nice too. TNA came up with nice title designs minus the Hardy belts.

There are reports that started with Meltzer that Jerry Jarrett and Mike Tenay are the two names that they discussed for a potential HoF induction at BFG.

Davey Richards may be coming back as well. He is focusing 100% on medical school in 2018, but said he is open to wrestling in 2019.

Oh and Taryn left due to a combination of a concussion and not being able to obtain a visa to work in Canada, but the company wanted to keep her.

In semi related news, Matt Morgan got elected to city commision in his hometown in Florida, mostly because his opponents spent the entire campaign shitting on his wrestling career.
