Impact is moving to Pop TV on Tuesday nights. Impact is kind of a ****e. Is there any night it hasn't been on?

I'm surprised they went to Tuesday. I'm not sure what it's up against, but being on the night after Raw, and also once a month being after a PPV and then Raw, will undoubtedly burn people out. Especially with Smackdown on Wednesday. I know they didn't have much of a choice, but they're really digging deep now.

Although, in this situation the report was that they're paying to be on POP TV, so while its good they've managed to stay alive I wouldn't be jumping for joy in the long term yet.

I'll give them this, shit ton better than fucking COMET!

Being realistic:

Carter
Lashley
Roode
Galloway
Hardy
Shera (just because of India)

In other words, the only name that might get them somewhere is Galloway. Shera would be great for the live crowd but isn't going to get them anywhere in America. We've been there with everyone else.

I'd argue it'd be better to have Shera chasing in India than being the champion, so that means Carter, Lashley, Roode or Galloway. Though Galloway is a face as well, who would also probably be best chasing.

I'd personally put it on Roode, just because we know he can be such a successful heel champion. Have him get close, cheat to win and turn. Hell, have him break a bottle over Shera's head, then have Shera chase him all through India.

As for Roode, he's incredibly talented but we've been there. He's not going to draw in the masses and while he's good, I really don't need to see us going back three years.

Galloway. If nothing else to avoid being right back where we were a year ago.

The last thing TNA needs to do with this tournament is have it feel like a big waste of time so Hardy and Carter are out.

Roode and Lashley are acceptable choices but those two on top didn't work when they came to Destination America and I don't picture it working when they're on the new network. They need to try something new and Galloway is really their only option.

I love Lashley, so I'd take him as champion again. Very UFC-approach. His whole approach is great. Silent destroyer.

But yeah, Galloway is probably the smart choice.

I had to lookup what POP TV was. That isnt really a good sign when you have to do that. Apparently until recently that channel was the TV Guide preview channel before it started airing actual shows & mostly reruns of past shows. I think this is a step down from DA, but I guess they had no choice. Just seems like Dixie is that crazy cat lady who knows her pet is dying but wont do the humane thing & just let go.


TNA life support just got a fresh battery. Now lets see if they can make some matches that people would want to find this obscure channel to watch.
