What's the point of doing the merger, if main guys like AJ and Cornette are going to leave? They'd be keystones that you would need in order for this to work.

When did AJ ever say he wouldn't work with / for TNA? The barrier he stated was his current contracts with ROH / NJPW and the conflicts this created. If Dixie & Double J can clear these, I'm pretty sure AJ would still love to return as he is actually far more synonymous with TNA.

Cornette is too much of an old dog to worry about old scars, especially as his nemesis (Russo) is long gone and the company has returned to the simpler older school storylines that he advocates.

The latest rumor going around – and again, this is totally unconfirmed but has been rumored from multiple sources – is that Jarrett was in talks with Destination America to take over TNA once again and re-brand the product as Global Force Wrestling to avoid the network cancelling Impact later this year.

According to PWInsider.com, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray has been backstage at this week’s Impact Wrestling television taping events, and is expected to make his return tonight.

Bully has been hinting at making a return to WWE on social media for several months, going as far as to say the ball was in WWE’s court and that he was extremely open to the idea. It looked like that might actually happen after Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were placed back together and given the ‘3D’ as a finishing maneuver, but with Rowan now out of action at least four months you can cross a Team 3D return off the list of likely stories to unfold this year.

While the TNA Hall of Famer did make a brief cameo as special guest referee back in May, that was never supposed to be more than a one-night type of deal. Mike Johnson of Insider was told this is more of a full-fledged return for Bully Ray.

I had a thought in which James & Magnus leaving is to help sell the invasion. Two guys wanting revenge for losing a push when they were over.

The X Title & King of the Mountain title will be on GFW and TNA TV. The KOTM title will transition into the GFW WHC title with Jarret being the first title holder.

Yup, that is my thought on this. The belt was painted green for a reason. This "cancellation" has to be a huge work.
