This criticism is ridiculously played out. Yes Davey no-sold a lot on the indy circuit(especially in ROH matches) but it reflected the character he was portraying and the style of matches that he was working. He was one of a lot of guys popping up out of headdrops, standing up to superkicks, or momentarily forgetting to favor worked over body parts; that's a culture issue, not a Davey issue.
And ever since he went to TNA its been the exact opposite, with the exception of the BroMans comical over-the-top selling, Davey has probably been selling harder than any guy on the roster. He also did an awesome job of selling the arm injury during Lethal Lockdown.
If someone's only familiarity with Richards was TNA they'd have no clue what you're talking about, because in TNA he has adapted instantly and been nothing if not strong and consistent in selling his opponents offense.
