Impact Support Club House

I'm not sure if you dislike him in a way where you think he's always getting away with things or in a 'X-Pac heat' way, but using the President's protection against every viable competition and defeating them gets him a lot of heat and hate. At the same time, I agree with what FitFinlay said with giving him opponents like Mr Anderson, Bully Ray and mid-carders so we can still see him wrestle and believe that he's worth something at least, to pay for that losing streak he had before defeating Sting at Bound For Glory, which also shows he's (in some sense) a worthy World Champion.

No idea what "X-Pac heat" is.

Basically, when a heel isn't booed because he pisses off the audience, but because they actually think he/she sucks. For example, Dixie Carter isn't booed because she plays a good heel but because the crowd actually, actually hate her.

It is worth noting that sometimes people will just be marks for a heel's work and think it's X-Pac heat. It's a very slippery slope...

Then I guess?

As a heel stands, I feel nothing for Magnus because he's made no connection with the part of me that actually likes heels.

The more he uses others for a shield and the less he actually shows he himself is dangerous the less likely I will connect with him as someone who likes heels.

If that makes sense.

It's like, there was a game I played a while back where you initially fight the main bad guy and he nearly kills you, alone, but then leaves you because you aren't worth it. Then every time you face him he just leaves a bunch of minions for you to fight and walks away. Eventually you get strong enough to where he believes you are worthy of facing him again alone.

I don't get that vibe from Magnus at all.

Why do you like heels, Eric?

I've just always had some love for villains, well the ones I actually connect with anyway.

My favorite type of villain is the one who used to be the full fledged hero and then something happened to cause them to fall.

I mainly like villains because without them, especially the strong ones, a hero isn't really that important.

But do you boo them?

I do. Sometimes, for poops and giggles, I boo them when I'm watching at home, along with the audience. I suppose that's doing it ironically.

I used to when I was a kid. Now I just watch as a spectator of sorts. I'm very neutral. I can get behind a heel if it's played right.

Only bad guys I can remember hating off the top of my head have the last name of Targaryen.

Oh, and the Governor.

Baratheon, dude. Baratheon.

The wrestling I watch on my own and this forum is my only source of info. What's TNA Insider? Is it in-world articles or more like the main WZ-page?

Basically below. TNA-only news. A lot of nonsense, and they would always run bullshit stories, only to come back and retract them, but it was TNA-only, so for someone like me who couldn't possibly give less of a fuck what Dave Batista thinks about Jay Uso, it was a better source for info, or a better source to get to info.

It's basically every single inane piece of TNA news put together. Used to have a forum. IDR, weren't you briefly a member there?

Yeah.

Batista thinks?
