Officially announced by TNA as new play-by-play voice with Taz in 2015.

  • WAR Super J. Cup 1995 - Rey Mysterio vs. Psicosis
  • ECW Big Ass Extreme Bash: Night 2 - Rey Mysterio vs. Juventud Guerrera - 2 out of 3 falls
  • WCW Halloween Havoc '97 - Rey Mysterio vs. Eddy Guerrero - WCW Cruiserweight Championship in a Mask vs. Title

Those are the big three, but he has tons of more good matches, singles and tags and multi man matches where he was the star.

Awesome, are they on YouTube you think?

Awesome dude, I've watched the first one - epic and for the time I'm sure it was never seen stuff before. I'll make a thread, which I never do and see if people respond. I'll call it The Best Luchador or something, idk.

So, is anyone interested in seeing The Hardy Boyz facing of Storm/Abyss for the TNA Tag Team Titles in the debut episode of Impact Wrestling? Or having the debut show being built around the World Title is the best decision?

If it were WWE, I'd immediately think to save the WHC for a PPV, but with the reportedly new PPV-situation at TNA, I don't know.

Love the Hardys, love James Storm, so that could be good too. But I'm not crazy about Abyss - "Joseph Parks" showed how charismatic and versatile he can be without the Kane gimmick and his willingness to endure gruesome bumps aside, he's not very good in the ring.

I don't think I've ever watched a good Abyss match. I think they should try to build the shows as evenly as possible leaving just a little more hype on the WHC title match.

It wasn't particularly a five-star match, but there was this one match he had against Jeff early in the year that I enjoyed very much. I don't know when it was, but I remember Hardy's head being silver from all the thumbtacks stuck in it. That was brutal.

Well, his hardcore "Monster's Ball" matches are usually entertaining. I just hate how they watered him down so much. When he won the title with Farther James Mitchell I was a believer he would be the Monster champ he should have been. No, he wasn't, then he went to prison with the white attire, teamed up with Matt Morgan and has never recovered since then.

I hope with this relaunch Somoa Joe gets the spotlight he should have. I hope with the time off he is trying to lose some damn weight. Then make a come back and actually get a great push.

For tag teams, I have always wanted to see Knux an Abyss team up, same with Joe & Aeries together. It could add some thrown together added depth to the tag team division, which is needed.

He has a lot of good matches in TNA from like early '05 till the end of '08.

And a few other quality bloodbaths mixed in after that, the recent Stairway to Janice match with Bram at the "Hardcore Justice" Impact episode was outstanding.

His best matches of his career:
vs. AJ Six Sides of Steel at Lockdown '05
vs. Sabu, Rhyno, and Jeff Hardy 4-way Monster's Ball at BFG '05
vs. Angle Falls Count Anywhere Turning Point '08

Also @ Starkist, all of those matches are uploaded to Youtube if you Google them, and definitely worth the hour or so it would take to see all three(or atleast the two singles matches I listed).

I read earlier on PWI that Abyss is taking indie bookings again. I wonder what that means in regards to his contract.

Blame Zeb Colter for his downfall. He made the character for him in 2002 and then gave him the silly feud with Sting that killed the character in 2007.

Well, his hardcore matches are usually really good. I meant more amongst the lines of a non hardcore match. Abyss back in the day was fun to watch for the hardcore stuff. I don't think I have ever watched a good non hardcore Abyss match. I will watch the Angle match up.

The 05 match at Lockdown was awesome. I miss watching AJ in TNA. I miss watching that TNA product. Abyss was in shape, and did not look clumsy like he does now.

I forgot about Dutch being in TNA and how shitty of him to ruin a decent monster in Abyss.

I was re watching older TNA an I can say I really miss Don West along with the older TNA style. Bound For Glory 08 was fun to watch and what an awesome crowd!
