Impact Support Club House

I always thought that Anderson was miscast in the world of TNA. He should have made the transition to color commentator a long time ago. To me, he just looks like he lost the passion for it.

Just finished the Top 20 Moments countdown. Here it is in order.

No AJ from No Surrender 2009, no Skipper walking the cage, no Angle debuting. But at least we got Brooke's wedding and the empty arena match. Oh and Dixie. Don't forget Dixie.

Merry Christmas, folks!

TNA Cross the line DS games, Kurt Angle action figures and 2.0 Nielsen ratings for all! Ho ho ho!

Can anyone explain to me, what the hell's happening with the tag team storylines recently? I've heard great things about the feud between Wolves/Dudleyz/Hardyz and I will probably check it out, but what's currently happening? Who's the champions, why, who are the contenders?

After the Wolves won the tag title series with the Hardy's and Team 3D, there was a tournament to crown a new number one contender.

Meanwhile, James Storm attempted to recruit Richards to the Revolution. After a couple of weeks of teasing ambiguity in Davey's decision, he decisively spurned Storm's advances. As a result the Revolution beatdown the Wolves, and subsequently, Storm reminded everyone that he was still in possession of the Feast or Fired tag title contract and wished to activate his option for a match on the spot. Abyss then came out and revealed himself as Storm's partner and the Revolution's newest recruit, with Storm and Abyss successfully making good on the opportunity and stealing the belts from the Wolves.

The Hardy's won the Number One Contender's tournament, and will face the Revolution for the titles when Impact returns with new episodes. The Wolves will then logically be in line to face the winners.

As for why the Wolves lost the belts, TNA made the decision to take the titles off of any talent that wasn't at least contracted through the 2015 UK tour, prior to concluding tapings for Spike TV. This was done to protect themselves in the case that any champions had made the decision to leave the company during the time between network switches. Davey and Eddie were only contracted through the end of 2014, so they were amongst the title holders forced to relinquish their straps. Davey and Eddie have confirmed however that they plan to move forward with TNA to Destination America and will be remaining in the tag title picture(no word on whether they will be working date-to-date, or if they have signed new contracts).

Any thoughts on the new KO Title belt?

I dig it, mainly because it now looks very cohesive with the men's World Title belt.

Plus a completely new design wasn't needed at all since it has never been a bad looking championship belt(unlike the WWE's "Divas Title" which badly needs a 100% re-work).

Same for me. The black strap makes it work right in line with the others. Plus, the old one was just kinda... weird looking. Hard to pin-point what went wrong with it for me, but it just looked like a white prop, not like a title women would fight one another to hold.

I liked the white strap tbh. Sure, it made the title look "girly" but I guess that was the point. Gail Kim sure made that title look good. No problem with the new belt though. Maybe other than it looks better than the X-Division title.

TNA has some made announcements

Thursday, January 8th
- The Wolves will face The Hardys in a tag team rematch from Destination X.

Friday, January 9th
- Lockdown will be on broadcast TV with every match contested inside the Six Sides of Steel.

I'll be watching. Finally got a DVR even though my personal issues my have flushed that shit away. Fuckin' fuck life.

Wait is Lockdown not one of the four PPV's they do now?

Meltzer made mention when the DA deal came together that he wouldn't be surprised if TNA scrapped their PPV's except for Slammiversary and BFG, because their PPV business has been in the toilet for close to two years and they're no longer in a position where money can be thrown away, they're too costly to produce, so it seems this is an indication they'll be doing that. Probably for the best.

I don't know how lucky you'll actually be. So let me get this straight - January 7th, we'll have a Live edition of Impact, with the world title match already on. Only to have another live show, two days after, and right after TV tapings for the following week show, that happens to be a special edition of Impact? Why?

This just looks random. But let's just wait and see the purpose of it all. Also, all matches on a Steel Cage is not a good idea. Never was. They seem to be the same. Believe me, this updates really killed any hype I had for the re-debut.

Yeah, I'm kind of confused too. But hey, I guess this is just iMPACT's way of finishing things up. I'm still optimistic that they'll do better though so let's just wait and see. Still would like to see some roster cuts as well.
