Impact Support Club House

If it's just going to be the intro at the start of the show it's fine. As a full blown song it is lacking

Karl, Doc, AJ and Nakamura, yeah.

I was super pissed about Storm leaving, because he's one of my faves.

I don't know enough about his work to have an opinion, honestly. Right now, I'd welcome most free agents, especially ones I haven't seen work, or seen work a lot, just becuase TNA needs all the help they can get.

OK. Bennett was a bright spot. Storm's return the brightest. Otherwise, normally lit. Felt the same as TNA shows from last year before the WTS nonsense. Not bad, but not great.

They def. need more new blood to freshen things up.

So did that Knockouts segment/match feature every KO they have? Because I can't name anybody else in the division. Which reminds me, Kong joining The Dollhouse is just stupid on so many levels.

That Bennett debut was great though.

Probably, yeah. Taryn is gone, and so is Brooke, so I can't think of anyone else left either. They definitely need new blood there. Badly.

Think it's time I joined you guys on here. Quite enjoyed TNA's debut on POP. Definitely think EC3 is the right champion for now before someone better comes along, which may take a while to be honest. Totally agree with your post in the non-spam section as well IDR - less talking, more action please.

Off the top of my head Cherry Bomb (once she's healthy), Kimber Lee and Candice LeRae would be good choices to bring in. Probably some decent choices from former divas to bring in as well to get some fresh blood in the division.

Yeah, it's one thing when you've got tremendous talkers. Like back when they had Sting, or Bully Ray. It's another when it's Jesse Godderz and every relative unknown.

My problem with last night was the lack of much new stuff. Other than Mike/Maria, we've seen this before.

Beer Money reunion
Kong vs. Kim (which we just saw at Bound For Glory as well as in the tournament)
Carter beats Hardy again

It felt like yet another rehash of the same old ideas. The show certainly wasn't horrible and held my interest throughout, but there is zero spark for this company, which has been one of the major problems for years.

Yup. Agreed. I think the Beer Money reunion, even though we've seen it before, is still somewhat fresh. Similar to the last time The Beautiful People reunited. But it won't stay fresh long if they don't have new blood to work with. That's what killed TBP's reunion too. They just went back to fighting the same people, so really, there's no difference what they call themselves.

The same will hold true for BM, because right now there's only one team for them to feud with. At least one new tag team could go a long, long way. And I mean new. Not Eric Young and Bram, or whatever other throw-together they conjure up because they don't have anything else in their cabinets.

Aren't War Machine free agents? I'd be making them an offer right now to step in. Ditto reDRagon.

It seems like they're just doing it for a Beer Money vs. Wolves dream match, which is good for a one off show but doesn't fix the long terms problems in the division.

Right. Like I said, they need new blood, no matter what.

I have no idea who is or isn't available. I just know TNA would be wise to be doing everything they can to get new talent contracted to boost their tag team, X and knockouts divisions.

In order of importance: tag, knockouts, X.

Finally saw the show.

The negative:
  • It feels exactly the same overall.
  • Still too much talking.
  • WAAAY too many tecnical mistakes.
  • Matt Hardy as a headliner.
  • Jesse Godderz
The positive:
  • That monitor looked damn spiffy.
  • Most of the guys sound great on the mic. Especially Eli Drake. Most WWE guys sound horrible by comparison.
  • The Miracle.
  • They're finally doing something with that damn KOTM title.
  • Pope and Josh actually focused.
