Well, I assume Jinder Mahal is his WWE created name, so I doubt he could use it. His Wiki page says he goes by Raj Singh and Tiger Raj Singh as well. His real last name is Signh, so he'd probably go by one of them, or some other variation.

Mahal screams midcard to lower card act. He was one of the first main event heels in NXT and it was clear that he was just keeping the spot warm until the real big bad arrived. Mahal isn't bad in the slightest but putting him in a big feud, especially against a guy he used to team with in a comedy stable, would be like building up Shark Boy vs. Super Eric as a serious feud. If true, this is going to get some of the worst reactions in a long time no matter how good it is.

Mahal has some freakishly long legs and a good jumping knee. Other than that, he's nothing special in the ring. Adequate, but no one anybody is going to pay to see.

WWC actually tried to push him and failed. This is a company that pushed Heidenreich as a main evet guy and gave him a run as Champion. But Mahal failed. Let that sink.

That Jay Bradley next to Abyss?

Edit: Yup, apparently going by "The Thug" Aiden O’Shea now.

Dare I ask what's a Bound For Gold match? Is it the return of the Reverse Battle Royal?

...

While EC3 and Drew Galloway will compete in The Main Event at Bound For Glory for The World Championship, a host of others will compete for a future Title opportunity. It will be the “Bound For Glory: Bound For Gold Gauntlet Match” where the last man standing in the ring will earn a coveted chance to achieve greatness. The field is like a who’s who of wrestling royalty.

Mr. Anderson is a former 2x TNA World Champion who would love to get back to the top.

Abyss is a TNA Original who would love to win The TNA World Title in his Hall of Fame worthy career.

Robbie E had a great summer and could make it an even better fall if he can win this gauntlet match.

Plus, newcomer Aiden O’Shea, Chris Melendez, Jessie Godderz and others will all be competing. The big question is who will enter when and keep in mind, the later you enter the better chance you have of winning. The match starts with 2 men and after timed intervals another wrestler enters the match; you are eliminated when both feet go over the top rope and touch the floor below.

Who's the guy in the picture in-front of Robbie E? I don't recognize him at all.

Kenny King took a few shots at TNA over the weekend in promos at the ROH house shows. In one promo he said something along the lines of, "I might have been on vacation the last two years, but no matter how bad I was made to look, I've not lost a step".

Still, Kenny King right now is somewhat relevant again at least. The fact that Rhett Titus is somewhat relevant again too is sorta mind boggling in 2015, but thats what the All Night Express gets you.

So a neat little TNA/ROH observation, ROH just announced that their first TV taping of 2016 will be at the Carrabus Events Center in Charlotte, NC, where Bound for Glory is taking place this weekend. I didn't know that the arena isn't actually that big as it only holds 5,000 people.

Could someone, anyone at all, please explain to me why this company is running the EXACT same World title match on Impact tonight as they are in 4 days at their biggest event of the year? They even have the same special ref. I know they're booking on the fly but like, why would I even remotely care about paying for this match on PPV now?

More on TNA potentially taping in India:

In what could potentially be a time-frame as to when TNA will be touring India, pro-wrestling agent and promoter David Herro posted a facebook announcement that two TNA wrestlers set for his promotion’s December date were withdrawing from the event due to TNA heading to India in early December. Herro mentioned that Ethan Carter III and Ken Anderson were withdrawing from his Blizzard Brawl event to tape shows in India. Herro recently removed the post and a number of other promotional material that included Anderson and Ethan Carter III. TNA Star Abyss is still scheduled for the Blizzard Brawl event.

The Wrestling Observer is also reporting that TNA Wrestlers have finally been given notice to hold off booking any independent dates from November 29th through December 5th 2015.

That's exactly why.

Though I can't imagine it's that difficult to store-write this far in advance. If you have smart enough writers, you should be able to tell these stories on paper just fine. The only time I understand there being significant issues is when something unforeseen disrupts your story. Hernandez/TNA/Lucha, Bram/the law, etc.

It's just weird though because I mean, it's clear that Galloway has been the challenger plan for awhile now and they taped some shows setting that up, so they purposely and knowingly set it up so that this match happened while it was already set up for Bound For Glory. It just flat out doesn't make sense to me man.

And remember when TNA did that Ring Ka King thing in India for a bit? Kind of rubbish really but I remember one fun street fight type match with Trevor Murdoch.

It only took TNA about 6 years to figure out they should book to those size of arenas. The worat part is I dont think they'll fill this one up Sunday.

Watched a teeny tiny bit of TNA today after aaaaages. From the current lot, I miss watching Roode and the Knockouts the most. Is it worth watching their BFG matches this year?

Just watched some of the highlights on Youtube so very little. I'm not basing it on one episode, just want to watch a few stars that I haven't seen in quite a while like EC3. Although I don't want to be disappointed so I may just end up forwarding a lot of it. Besides, BFG over here is free so it won't be that much of a waste of anything.

You gonna watch?
