I mean, they may do so regardless. If you recall, even the move from Spike to DA was like two months. They ran best-of shows for I think four weeks, and then nothing for another two or three before they debuted on DA in January.

That would be nice, though I'm not sure who is going to touch them right now. The numbers have been pretty horrible and this would be their third network in about a year. That's not good.

I mean, I don't know the television landscape enough to really comment in a well-informed manner on it. Maybe they can convince another partner that the DA numbers were skewed due to market reach, and point to the numbers and viewers they had with Spike as a truer indication of what they can do? I know they were talking with WGN America when they were leaving Spike. Are they more available than DA is/was? Maybe they go down that route again?
I mean, honestly, as a fan, even as one who is somewhat well-informed, I'm just not informed enough about this whole television landscape to have a real opinion on it. The only thing I can do is work with the information I do have, and hope for the best.

You know WWE Corporate isn't literally the devil, right?
How does this sound: "Seeing Sting was cool, but knowing that people will take the best offer that they feel they'll receive is crazy." With very, very few exceptions (I can think of maybe one), any time you hear talk of company loyalty, you're being played as a fan.

You really can't fault him for it though, Starkist. He did everything he could to get TNA to the pinnacle, but it just didn't happen. Through no fault of his own, really, but it just didn't happen.
So sure, it took him fifteen years to get to WWE, or more specifically to go there, and yeah, he's gone on record in the past about the reasons why he didn't sign with them in the first place during the whole WCW invasion, citing a distrust of how they'd handle his character, but maybe he no longer feels that way? Maybe time and the recognition he has little of it left as an active wrestler made him re-think his convictions?
Like I said earlier, as fans, we can choose what we watch, but the depth of brand loyalty you are talking about, decrying a guy like Sting as having "sold his soul" by signing with a company you don't like is just too far gone. I consider myself a "TNA guy" too, but they're not above reproach to me, and WWE is a product I routinely inspect to see if it's something I might be interested in. The answer has consistently been 'no', but that doesn't dissuade me from inspecting it again weeks or months or years later.
Maybe Sting did/does the same?

Sting gave TNA everything he could. Look at how TNA has been run over the years and how inept they are at handling almost anything. Would you want to stick around when you could be treated as a legend on the biggest stage of them all?
Sting never lied to Dixie and he never broke a contract. He fulfilled his contracted dates, he appeared everywhere, and he left. That's not selling his soul. What did he owe TNA? They're a company he did a HUGE favor to by appearing after WCW went under. Assuming Sting didn't burn through his money, he could have sat on his couch the day after Nitro went off the air and never gotten in a ring again. TNA didn't save him and TNA got a lot out of Sting. It's not a betrayal and he didn't sell his soul.

They've made billions of dollars by selling the idea of fame to workers they refuse to provide health insurance for, all built on a legacy of shortening men's lives by decades.

I know he did and it is TNAs on fault for being in the shape they are in. If he is happy thrn that is awesome. I am happy I saw him as a fan regardless of it being in WWE.

No, but it makes it more successful than other one-stop-shop stores, and some people do equate success with quality. Others just enjoy shopping at Wal-Mart.

Watching NJPW on AXS TV — AJ v. Hiroshi Tanahashi.
This is great. Reminds me of late 80's WCW or even AWA era wrestling. Taking the product seriously. Just a really classic approach. Wish TNA would have done this. They started to in January.
