Impact Support Club House

There is talk within the company of TNA Impact Wrestling airing on another cable TV network in early 2016, this according to PWinsider.com. So far there has been no official word on which network TNA will liekly sign with but the report states that it could be a real possibility that Impact Wrestling could be off the air for a few weeks or a month until a new deal is set.

TNA President Dixie Carter and a number of TNA execs have confirmed that Impact will stay on Destination America until early 2016. Some officials behind the scenes are stating that they will indeed be moving to a new network in early 2016.

Previously WGN was interested in working with TNA before the Destination America deal was signed. TNA officials opted not to go with WGN because the network wanted to push the show’s premier back a number of months. The current rumormill is that TNA may be talking to four different networks.

While the status of TNA Wrestling’s status on Destination America has been oft-debated, there still is a good possibility Impact Wrestling airs on a new cable network in early 2016.

It’s being said that TNA might be talking to as many as four networks right now, although it’s not known which ones they are. TNA could be off of domestic television for a few weeks or a month, but they may find a new home for the beginning of next year.

It was noted that some executives have commented about TNA’s status, saying they will be on Destination America through the end of this year, and will have a new cable network home in 2016.

If this is something taped in advance then EC3 could not have won. Would make even less sense seeing Hardy cutting a promo on a title he vacated in which he never even won. Just my guess.

This recent statement about TNA's booking leaves us with two choices:

A) Matt Hardy was booked to win at the last minute, but not wanting to appear like they're just seeing what sticks to the wall, they're claiming this was a premeditated decision.
B) This WAS a premeditated decision, and for three months not a soul said 'this is a bad idea.'

This is the same company that sent an inebriated Jeff Hardy out for Victory Road, so either option is equally plausible.

It's pretty obvious they booked exclusively with North Carolina in mind and were probably hoping Jeff was better before the tapings. He wasn't so they went with Matt. Then they realized "Oh fuck, we went with Matt".

Also, Aiden O'Shea. Did creative say "Hey, WWE has a stupid looking Irishman. Why can't we have one?"

Was just going to say, considering this is TNA, either is plausible. I might even argue that the latter is more plausible.

Actually, what I find hilarious about Aiden is that they're just pretending he was never around as Jay Bradley.

On the suggestion of a close buddy who has always had nearly identical wrestling tastes as me, I finally sat down and watched NXT Brooklyn. Gotta say, I'm impressed. There's clearly some very WWE elements that I struggled not to fast-forward past. Basically everyone with a golden spray tan, long hair and a body builder's physique made me want to quit, but Owens (him sitting unimpressed when Balor's entrance was finished was amazing), Balor, Joe, Bayley and Vaudevillians (hilarious gimmick).

I won't lie, I kinda wanna watch it again in the future, even though I feel a little dirty having really enjoyed a product I know is a WWE one.

Especially if James Storm shows up.

I told you you would be impressed. There's another of their specials tonight with a women's Iron Man match and the semi-finals/finals of a tag team tournament with Balor/Joe as one of the final four teams.

Yeah, I've been avoiding it, for sure, but if I was rating it in terms of entertainment factor, I'd say a solid 6.5/10. It has that high production value I love without a lot of the WWE "stink", if you know what I mean.

TNA to tape some episodes during their Maximum tour. Angle is announced but I am sure that will change soon.

That's not until January of 2016 though, so those may even end up being the first content on whatever new network they land... if they land one.
