Im sad

My mother has signed somehting called a DRI (i am not sure) That thing is that if he, G-d forbid, is brain dead, G-d forbid!!!!, then she signed the papers to make him pass away, if that makes sense.

I'm not 100% sure what D.R.I. stands for.. but basically what she (to my knowledge) has done, is insured that if it has been proven to the at-most fact, that he would not recover & it would show, that it would be for the best to "pull the plug," (in the cruelest of sense) then she is giving her approval of not wanting or wishing to see him suffer any longer.

In other words. She wants him to recover & she wishes & hopes he does, however she isn't going to keep him on life support for the rest of his life, for him to only suffer more than get better.

And thank you. Didn't mean to make anyone sad or depressed about this, I just needed to vent.

Coco, noone on this board likely has a problem with you venting. "I" have vented over my dislike for Christmas. Jonny has vented over his break-up & recent date. And several others have vented about many different things.. its more or less what an internet forum, at least this section, was created for. So its okay to vent.

And if anyone has a problem with it, then they need to learn some respect. Everyone at one point or another in their life has needed to vent, & this is a serious issue in Coco's life, not to be taken lightly, or made fun of in any way because he wishes to vent his emotions.

Again, I can't speak for everyone, but I would like to assume we're all sympathetic in one form or another for you & what your Family is going through at this time. I personally wish you a strong recovery through this situation & just to let you know, myself along with several others are here if you need to continue to vent.

A do not resuciatate form?
It basically means if he, God forbid, passes away, she's told the doctors they shouldn't try and resuciatate him, but just to leave him be in peace.
