If You're Pissed About Taker Vs. Lesnar Come Scream Out A Lung

I thought it would have been better if they played on the fact that Taker has never beaten Lesnar. I can see why they didn't because those came when he was the American Bad Ass.

Weak match. Unfortunate result. I assume the Undertaker is retired, but who knows.

The only thing going for it is that Lesnar will have MEGA heat in his next match, and they may be able to use that productively.

Agree. I am not pissed about "The Streak", Taker is more bigger then that thing and knew that it could end up sometimes but Brock doesnt benefits that much from it. If they wanted sendoff they could off do it much better...

With the shock worn off I'd agree it's likely Taker felt he was so broken down he had no decent match left in him and Lesnar was already booked as the opponent, so he was the one to break the Streak. With Taker being my favorite of all time it's sad to see it vanish this dishonorably, but that's just how it happens.

Lesnar seeming this lethargic and off could be attributed to him being intimidated / overwhelmed by knowing he was the one.

Tomorrow night on Raw.
Taker is going to announce he is retiring, when he is about to leave the ring. The lights go out and we see sting in the rafters who offers to have one last match at wrestlemania 31, where they can both go out in a final match. Taker and Sting,
The dream match everyone has wanted forever. Both of their careers will end with this match. Mark my words. I hope this happens,
It's a hell of an idea.

The streak should have never happened. It never even should have been a thing. I think Taker finally realized it and had Brock go over. I mean, Brock is the most legit guy they've ever had, if Taker beats Brock, the suspension of disbelief that wrestling requires is being stretched beyond reason.

Or they're setting up a rematch next year, where Brock is champion and Taker is the challenger. Taker wins and retires on top.

The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the way he won. It was like an F5 out of nowhere and the pin. There should have been a larger set up.

Cena/Wyatt is by no surprise the match of the night.

It wasn't a botch. They cued up the 21-1 graphic almost right away. I'm not upset that The Streak is over, or that Lesnar is the guy who ended it. I'm just upset that the match was crap and the build was so vanilla. Blade, Shotaro, and myself were making jokes in our Skype LD during the match, it was that dull. Maybe that was the point. Maybe they wanted everyone to think Brock was just going to be another victim. I actually bought into Punk beating the Streak last year, this year I never saw it coming.

The fan is me is sad to see it end. Not just the streak, but The Undertaker as well. That little kid fan in me who used to dance with HBK and was scared of Mankind is sad, but the adult fan in me is glad its over. Taker looked slow, old, he just didn't have it. During his second attempt at Old School, my heart sank because he just didn't have it in him. I credit the hell out of Brock for selling and making Taker look credible, but ultimately I think this had to be. The cynic in me actually looks forward to seeing Paul Heyman play this up.

The world keeps on spinning folks and you know Brock Lesnar/Paul Heyman are heat magnets now even more so than all the glorious years before. I relish or favourite slime-ball Jew telling us that he was right all along.

I don't understand Lesnar being the one to end the streak, but thank God the streak is over. And if Undertaker is/was going to continue putting on terrible performances like that, then I'm completely okay with him retiring. The one match a year schtick is old and Undertaker just doesn't seem to have it anymore.

Sad but true. Not that the streaks over but if the match tonight showed one thing its Taker has ran out of gas.

If Lesnar knew before he was going to win he wouldn't have put in such a shitty, unmotivated caricature of effort. Lesnar gains nothing from it, too. He's the most dominant monster anyway, it doesn't give his character more depth, he's pretty old and a part-timer on top of it.

You do know that Lesnar is younger than Cena, right?

For a long time I thought Cena should have been the one to end the streak, but the last couple of years (especially after the matches with Rock), I think the moment had passed. John Cena is bigger than breaking the streak at this point.
This pretty much. Always hoped for that match to happen, but Cena's legacy/career has surpassed that moment.

Ummm..... So, you disliked the best way to end the streak? You know, the time were no one saw it coming. How about we have someone else defeat a streak by winning the most obvious way ala Broncos vs Seahawks.

I'm assuming Lesnar was slowing himself down so Undertaker could keep up.

Taker said he wanted to retire before he became embarrassing in the ring. I bet he felt it was time to bow out. I feel like the streak ending with his career is a perfect ending for him.

I'm pretty content with it. Don't even understand why anyone would be angry.

Last night Jake Roberts said in his speech, "the best thing about being a wrestler is fucking with their emotions, giving them a high and then sinking them to the bottom", well tonight was a night where fans got their emotions played with. You didn't see it coming, so you're going to be angry? But I thought WWE was too predictable and needed more upsets? Cause you can't have it every way you want it.

The Streak is dead. Deal with it.

That's not what Jake said. He said *********ing their emotions.

If that's the type of performance Taker matches were going to bring out in the coming years it's a good thing it ended here.

Shame it wasn't Cena but the reaction has to be in the top five Mania moments ever.

Didn't know he was younger, but knew they were close. Still, 36 is in the second half of a wrestling career and pretty old compared to someone talented who could skyrocket his career with possibly the biggest accomplishment in wresting history. My favorites would've been Ambrose (28), Reigns (28), Wyatt (26) or hell, even Sandow (31) if he had been pushed as a serious character over the last / next year.

I never thought my body would be affected by anything in pro wrestling unless I could physically wrestle but then tonight I felt my heart drop on the three count.

I have read all the comments and can say that I can agree on a few. In my mind I probably would've taken Hornswoggle to end the streak over Lesnar but the streak is something Undertaker controls, as one said he hand picks who ends the streak even if he wanted it ended so why Lesnar?

This does question the possible rumored Sting/UT match at 31. Sting talks his favorite # now being 31 and so much rumored hype this year that you actually want to believe. I just don't think this is truly the end of UT but I do believe he will retire on RAW tomorrow. After all he actually walked away from the ring tonight on his own. That hasn't been done in awhile. Taker will show up tomorrow, talk retirement. Honestly I even want to see some sign of respect tomorrow night from Lesnar and they embrace in a handshake. But when UT calls retirement you know that the crowd will start a "one more match " chant. This is where Sting comes in. Sting has said he wants to wrestle one more match before retiring and what better way to have a send off for both of them is to have that match together. A Sting/Undertaker match would've never been about the streak in the first place. Sting didn't want to end the streak nor Should UT give it to him, it's about respect of two legacies. Now the pressure is off with the streak gone and they can have a relaxed slow paced match at 31 like two old wrestlers should do, not for anything but nostalgia.

That being said I'm upset Lesnar ended it, not that it was ended. It was time.

Guys, it was 100% logical for Lesnar, who is much stronger, to beat Taker.

Do you honestly think it's believable that old man Taker can beat vicious Brock Lesnar? C'mon now.

This now set up a retirement match vs Sting next year. Since the streak is over, we don't know who will win.

Taker made the match official on his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mark-William-Calaway/162171273832657

Two things:
1. Believability means nothing in wrestling.
2. I'm 100% positive that is not Undertaker's Facebook page.

When Bruno lost the WWWF championship the first time it's said that MSG went dead silent. A reaction like that was hard to imagine in the modern era until tonight. The faces of the people in the crowd were well worth it. I think I saw a grown man about to cry. It was amazing.

Well I like some believability in wrestling for a change, so I think that was the proper ending. Taker looked terrible out there.

Do you have proof that that Facebook page is not Taker's?

It was Taker's decision to let Brock end the streak

Anyway, The match was decent and Wrestlemania 30 was a great show overall.
