I thought it would have been better if they played on the fact that Taker has never beaten Lesnar. I can see why they didn't because those came when he was the American Bad Ass.

Weak match. Unfortunate result. I assume the Undertaker is retired, but who knows.
The only thing going for it is that Lesnar will have MEGA heat in his next match, and they may be able to use that productively.
I don't understand Lesnar being the one to end the streak, but thank God the streak is over. And if Undertaker is/was going to continue putting on terrible performances like that, then I'm completely okay with him retiring. The one match a year schtick is old and Undertaker just doesn't seem to have it anymore.
If Lesnar knew before he was going to win he wouldn't have put in such a shitty, unmotivated caricature of effort. Lesnar gains nothing from it, too. He's the most dominant monster anyway, it doesn't give his character more depth, he's pretty old and a part-timer on top of it.
This pretty much. Always hoped for that match to happen, but Cena's legacy/career has surpassed that moment. For a long time I thought Cena should have been the one to end the streak, but the last couple of years (especially after the matches with Rock), I think the moment had passed. John Cena is bigger than breaking the streak at this point.
The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the way he won. It was like an F5 out of nowhere and the pin. There should have been a larger set up.
Cena/Wyatt is by no surprise the match of the night.
I'm pretty content with it. Don't even understand why anyone would be angry.
Last night Jake Roberts said in his speech, "the best thing about being a wrestler is fucking with their emotions, giving them a high and then sinking them to the bottom", well tonight was a night where fans got their emotions played with. You didn't see it coming, so you're going to be angry? But I thought WWE was too predictable and needed more upsets? Cause you can't have it every way you want it.
The Streak is dead. Deal with it.
That's not what Jake said. He said *********ing their emotions.
Didn't know he was younger, but knew they were close. Still, 36 is in the second half of a wrestling career and pretty old compared to someone talented who could skyrocket his career with possibly the biggest accomplishment in wresting history. My favorites would've been Ambrose (28), Reigns (28), Wyatt (26) or hell, even Sandow (31) if he had been pushed as a serious character over the last / next year. You do know that Lesnar is younger than Cena, right?
Guys, it was 100% logical for Lesnar, who is much stronger, to beat Taker.
Do you honestly think it's believable that old man Taker can beat vicious Brock Lesnar? C'mon now.
This now set up a retirement match vs Sting next year. Since the streak is over, we don't know who will win.
Taker made the match official on his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mark-William-Calaway/162171273832657
Well I like some believability in wrestling for a change, so I think that was the proper ending. Taker looked terrible out there. Two things:
1. Believability means nothing in wrestling.
2. I'm 100% positive that is not Undertaker's Facebook page.
