If you could improve ECW- What would you do?

Ok so alot of people have been bitching about ECW and obviously it's around to stay for a while as long as it's drawing rating's and bringing in the McMahon's some cash. I'd love to see the NO DQ rules to any of the matche's brought back, but as to whether we will see that is anyone's guess.

First off I would give ECW a seperate venue other than Smackdown, start off in some smalling buildings and if they want to put it in bigger buildings due to bigger demand's then why not? They could have a similar arrangement to what TNA has with the Impact Zone, I mean WWE already cover's most of North America as it is. Also a 2 hour timeslot would be alot better aswell, to me the NO DQ in any match is a bummer that it's gone but if they brought some innovative wrestling to TV then it would compensate it for me.

-Any WWE alumni, that has failed to make the grade in WWE.
-Kurt Angle (Need's to go back home to WWE stomping grounds in either RAW or Smackdown, he was sent to ECW to help it.. but so far with his injuries that hasn't been.)
-Rene Dupree (He failed to make the grade in WWE and yes some may argue that they can do something with him, but for me he just isn't ECW of old or new)

In:

- Test (He's an exception for WWE alumni as I feel he is very underrated and if Heyman has been a fan of him for a while then obviously Heyman has plans.)
- Super Crazy
- Pyschosis w/Mask
- Monty Brown
- Joey Matthews
- Colt Cabana (Colt Cabana vs. CM Punk?)
- Axl Rotten (Balls n Axl?)
- JD Michaels (Would love to see him play off his HBKish copycat gimmick in ECW)
- Matt Morgan (Had great untapped potential and if he was to come back to the McMahon empire, maybe then he could show off what he has to offer in ECW.. I was hoping they pushed him decently when he arrived.)

I pretty much agree with you except I would keep Angle in because I like his new "ECW attitude" id guess you would call it.

They def. need to get out of those big arenas right now or even tape it before Raw because the Smackdown crowd is so quiet.

DO NOT SAY EXTREME 10000000X during the whole show. I know it's suppose to be extreme that's the reason behind calling it ECW. I also am tired of having "Extreme Rule" matches. Back in the real ECW they never used those terms. They just did whatever they wanted and they had normal matches as well.

I would make every match extreme rules. Like the old ECW. It makes for more creative storylines and not the same old screw jobs the WWE has been doing for 50 years now. That doesn't mean you have to go through a table every single match. The old ECW had tons of matches where they never once used a table or a chair. Just great wrestling. And you never know what is going to happen. That would probably be the number one thing to me. I hate it when you can predict when someone is gonna get screwed. How hard is it to think of that EVERYTIME. The WWE writting team isn't too creative.

Well I think ECW really needs a tag team division. I know there's no way it would happen. But bringing the dudleys back would be huge for ECW. But even though I'm an old school ECW fan. To be honest...the only new guy I'm really not into is Mike Knox. Test, that vampire dude, CM punk. They all seem to decently fit. I could see them fitting into the old ECW in some sort of way.

2. Bring back Bill Alfonso (and make Sabu stop talking)
3. Make every match no dq (and don't call it extreme rules) This shouldn't automatically make every single match overflowing with ridiculous weapons. Like the original ECW they should know when to let good technical wrestlers do their thing without all the unnecessary bullshit.
4. Take WCW Saturday Night ...oops I mean Smackdown off the air and split the few good wrestlers between ECW and Raw.
5. Make ECW 2 hours.

First off, Kapp this is a discussion forum 99.9% of us will probably never ever do anything to help contribute towards Wrestling today.. but if you would know what these boards are for then you would know that's why Forum's are for discussing and expressing your views. Ohh and Mr.3Dman if you were a person in Vince's position with one brand ailing as it is, I think that you wouldn't kill it you would milk it for all it's worth to get your $$. It's called business, Vince McMahon is a good businessman.. not a great storyteller, but a great businessman., I would sure love to have the equity and financial base he has.

I would remove it off of t.v.!!! before you think i hate it, wait and read why. Remove the new ECW, and in its replacement start showing old matches from house shows, PPV's, TNN, and ECW TV to start(WWE owns the entire library and just sits on it) Eventually weed out the old matches for new matches continuing the storylines ECW had left with(Except Rhino, kill him off or something), create new wwe/ecw-ish type storylines from that point

^^^^ only post here if your going to post properly, if i was to try and change ecw i would start with production, i would move it to a seperate show from wwe smackdown, as they take away from each other because they are both different shows with different fan bases.

i would also stop taking all the old unused wwe talent and sending them there this is ecw its not meeant to be a 3rd brand for the rest of the wwe wrestlers so stop treating it like that.

Give complete control to paul heyman let him push and bring in whomever he wants.

get rid of kelly she is a talentless **** who has no skills in any walk of life let alone wrestling.

use the original ecw talent im not saying to push all of them to the moon but they have all paid there dues and deserve some credit , they dont have to all be in the worldtitle pic but atleast put them in decent fueds and dont have them flailing in the lower cards.

bring back another title, dont care which it is just imperative to get another title going so as that more people can enter into a fued wth some sort of meaning.

i know none of these things are going to happen but evn if a few did it would go along way to improving the new ecw
