Call it quits, or get a grip.
Which movie character would you use and why?
I'd use Tyler Durden from Fight Club. I think that persona would make for an awesome wrestling gimmick. For anyone who didn't see the movie, Tyler Durden (Portrayed by Brad Pitt) was a counterculture type figure who believed that people should forget about their possessions and, basically, let go of the expectations and norms placed on us by society.
Check Out This Scene. How does that relate to a wrestling persona?
Well, it could work as a heel gimmick, because he could preach about how his way of life is so much better. He could rag on crowds and call them out on how they're nothing but consumers and sheep. He could cut promos about how everyone complains because they set the bar too high, and they're too afraid to stray away from what's expected of them and be truly free. Etc. Etc. Etc. You could also incorporate the Fight Club aspect of it into his character, and have him always come out with his face bruised. The commentators could say that this guy is part of a group that had no holds barred fights in bars and basements and whatnot. Other than that, I would just love to see someone's look modeled after him. He was saw bad ass lookin' in that movie.
