If you could change one wwe ppv what would you change and what too?

I would get rid of Hell in a Cell and change it to something that Poppycock mentioned earlier: Brawl of Fame- centered around a clash of generations where legends come back to fight some of the younger talent. It would be a great way to get new people over.

I would either change, Hell in a Cell, Bragging Rights or Over the Limit

Hell in a cell, because I dont like, that I know there will be 2 or 3 Cell matches at the card. I like being surprised, by what match type there will be at a PPV. bragging Rights makes no sense because after October, who cares who won the trophy until next year ? RAW vs Smackdown is dead, they should have done such a PPV between 2002-2006. And Over the Limit is just pointless, what exactly went Over the Limit last time ? Nothing. So I cant decide which one of them I would change.

But what would i change it to ? I would just bring an old PPV name back like, No Mercy, Judgment Day, Backlash, Bad Blood or Armageddon, so i get surprised by which matches there will be on the card. Or I would do a King of the Ring PPV again, where the winner maybe will get a title shot at Summerslam or some other price then a stupid crown.

But I kinda also like the idea of a PPV, where there has to be a new #1 contender for the WWE/World title. By that I mean, where you take someone that has never held a world title and put him in the title picture, just to get a fresh face and something new. If a feud is going on for the world title, you could have a triple threat or let the person who is feuding with the champ be ref or something like that

I'd change Over the Limit. Nothing really was special about this one. Who went over the limit exactly? Isn't this the one where Cena dropped 33 chair on Wade Barrett, even though it was really like 17? I would actualy bring back a themed pay-per-view, despite how much I don't like them, and bring back Breaking Point. I thought it was original, and I really liked the concept.

I would changethe hell in a cell ppv having 3 cell matches for matches that don't need the. Match. 1st I would like to be surprised by the match and 2. The cell match is suppose to end the most intense or the longest fued not for some we had a match last ppv so let's carry it into a cell And we will end the Fued after this ppv. The ppv I would bring back is either No Mercy or at least badd Blood due to the timing of. The ppv...I just noticed that in every badd blood there was always a hell in a cell main event anyways

I would re-imagine Survivor Series with these potential match ideas:

1. Throwback to the 4 vs. 4 team oriented, elimination-style matches, but the groupings are random. Teams can be assembled on RAW and Smackdown in the weeks leading up. So John Cena may be teamed with CM Punk, another member of the new Nexus, and Evan Bourne for example. It is imperative that the members coexist on some level, since the "survivors" in each match are then entered into a battle royal with the winner getting a shot at either the WWE or WH championship. To really stress the "survivor" theme, the overall winner could get said shot right at the end of the PPV.

2. Same layout as above, though instead of immediately getting a WWE/WH title shot, the overall winner is guaranteed the #30 spot in the Royal Rumble. Surivor Series becomes a lead-in to the Rumble much like the Rumble has become a lead-in to Wrestlemania.

3. A re-do of the "War Games" concept where two four-man teams are formed, one man from each team starts and goes for five minutes, then other team members are introduced evenly every two minutes thereafter. Although this was traditionally a double-ring cage match, other types could certainly be used. Match can only end when all 8 competitors have entered and one member submits (ie; tap out) or a "second" throws in the towel (surrender). Perhaps this can replace the "Bragging Rights" concept as a Smackdown vs. RAW competition.

I'd change Fatal Fourway (forgot the new name) and bring back Breaking Point.

Breaking Point has so much potential, but every match has to be submission, last man standing, I quit, etc. to go with the theme. The reason it sucked so bad the first time is because there was only like 2 submission matches.

OUT - Hell in a Cell Pay Per View
IN - King of the Ring

Besides the Royal Rumble and WM, King of the Ring was one of my favourite PPV's.
You have your qualifying matches on Raw/SD and have the whole tournament done on the PPV.

8 Guys in the tournament - 4 on Each side of the bracket (meaning 2 quarter finals on each side, totalling 4) the winners of those face each other in the semi's then those winner's face each other in the finals. But before the finals are done to give the previous winner a "rest" there can be a filler match

I agree get rid of hell in a cell, over the limit and bragging rights

Bring back Bad Blood for hell in a cell
judgment day for over the limit

And king of the ring for bragging rights and make king of the ring mean somink again like it use to the winner being someone getting a big push and a title shot of there chosing out of the w.h.championship and wwe championship

I'd bring back the days of only 5 ppv's a year. There's no WCW to compete with nowadays so there's no reason to have 12 or more ppvs a year. It only dilutes the product even more than it already is.

There was a time when feuds would build for months at a time until the score was finally settled at the big ppv. But now feuds end less than a month after they started and then its on to the next rushed feud. How can you develop real animosity towards someone after just starting a feud a week earlier?

This is my PPV Schedule:
January:Royal Rumble
March/April: Wrestlemania
August:Summerslam
November:Survivor Series

THAT'S it. The big 4. One pay per view for every season. Rumble in the Winter, Mania in Spring, Summerslam in the summer, and Survivor in the fall.

Money In The Bank should still be a part of Mania and to spice up the Survivor Series I would reintroduce the old Fall Brawl:War Games concept from the WCW days.

What good is Hell In A Cell, Elimination Chamber, and Extreme Rules in a PG rated WWE? No blood = no point.

At the very least they should drop the ppv's before and after Mania. No point in a February ppv as thats the time for the buildup to Mania. And theres even less point to a ppv the month AFTER mania as theres so little time to create new interesting feuds in such a short period of time and it only leads to a bunch of Wrestlemania rematches that we just saw.

Wrestlemania should be the season finale, the stanley cup finals, the superbowl of Wrestling. In other words, they should have an OFF-SEASON when Wrestlemania is over. No ppvs, no Raw, no smackdown, no nothing for at least a month. Give the wrestlers time to heal and the creative team time to think up new and intersting feuds and storylines for the new season. Start the new season in May with the draft and begin the road to Summerslam. All TV shows and sports leagues have an off-season. Quality over quantity.

I would change either Hell in the Cell, Breaking Point (i hate all submission matches, their slow and boring) or Over the Limit (what is the concept of this PPV?, i still don't know!). And i would change it to either a King of the ring tournament and have it as a PPV or bring back the championship scramble which took place a couple of years ago at Unforgiven whiich were for the world titles.

After the suck of recent lethal Lockdowns and the lacklustre HiaC's, I'm kinda souring on Wargames.
What they need to do, is to bring back the Lethal Lottery!
Tag Teams are made, by drawing names from a hat.
All surviving tag teams get put into a Battle Royal, with the last man getting a future title shot.
True, the Battle Royal is a bit done to death, but the Lethal Lottery tag aspect would be a great way to keep storylines going for a month and give a "fun" PPV as a companion piece to RR...
Well, I liked it anyways.
Suggested viewing - WCW Starrcade 1991!

I would def get rid of Over the Limit there is nothing special bout the ppv at least with Hell in the Cell there will be decent matches in that PPV. I would def change Over the Limit back to the King of the Ring. With Smackdown and RAW talent can bring back what was great concept in WWE . I love tournaments and you can bring back that the winner can recieve #1 contenders spot for the World HeavyWeight Championship or WWE Championship at Summerslam.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned that Night of Champions has no point when there's only 6 championships? Especially considering that leaves a bunch of main-eventers off the card [unless you make multi-man matches for main events].

I think WWE needs a WRESTLEMANIA in the Fall. A big-ass event where they have Axxess and many other events that lead up to it. They can call it "The Main Event" like their first ever PPV.

Replace Fatal Four Way with Bad Blood
Replace Money in the Bank with King of the Ring
Get rid of Night of Champions

January - Royal Rumble
February - Survivor Series / War Games
March - WrestleMania
April - Extreme Rules
May - Hell in a Cell
June - Bad Blood
July - SummerSlam
August - King of the Ring
September - Elimination Chamber
October - THE MAIN EVENT
November - Tables, Ladders and Chairs
December - Bragging Rights

well since ol vinnie mac has decided to do away with the wrestling word, wonder whats gonna come of wrestlemania..i mean i have no problem with the title but if he doesnt wnat that word used anymore,it basically would be more of an oxymoronic type of name

I would get rid of elimination chamber from between royal rumble and wrestlemania and have it where no mercy used to be or have the elimination chamber as the main event of survivor series, the ooint of the chamber is to SURVIVE against 5 other people,i personally don't think that there should be a PPV between Royal Rumble and Mania as without one it allows for better storyline buildup instead of somewhat rushed feuds .

I would get change wrestlemania so its called "Mixed-Mania", which would have only mixed-tag team matches!!!
How exciting would that be?!

I would like to see the PPV Schedule reduced. Monthy just doesn't allow for real fueds. It seems like matches are just put on the card with only one match or two being something that resembles a fued. I would try to highlight the big 4. I would basically make each PPV a series. I also think there should be an emphasis on chasing the championships. Give them importance. Make the challengers hungry.

Theme: ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA
Royal Rumble - Battle for the Main Event @ Mania
WrestleMania - Superbowl of Wrestling
Backlash - Wrapping up fueds from mania. Can use extreme rules style stuff, Backlash name is waybetter tho

Theme: New Faces of the Summer
King of the Ring - Tournament Style, establish new stars, winner gets title match at Summer Slam
Summer Slam - Biggest Event of the Summer
Night of Champions - All Title defended would move money in the bank here since it is basically a championship.

Theme: Smackdown vs. Raw/Brand Supremacy
Fall Brawl - War Games/Hell in the Cell
Survivor Series - Would make traditional SS matches between brands. Add stipulations like if your team wins you are entered into a #1 contenders battle royale
Bragging Rights - Winning brand gets last spots in Rumble, losing team has 1 and 2 spots in rumble

Lose hell in a cell. I think the name of a gimmick match shouldn't be turned into a ppv name. I'd bring back the king of the ring.. even though money in the bank has a similar purpose.. king of the ring is part of the history/tradition of the company. Personally, I'd have only one MITB ladder match at MITB and a serperate king of the ring ppv. That way you can still have MITB at wrestlemania too and of the 8 wrestlers that compete in the current MITB ppv for their respective brands, only 6 or less have a realistic chance of winning so I'd have 4 wrestlers from smackdown and 4 from raw in a interpromotional match to main event MITB.

I'd like to see King Of The Ring, Cyber Sunday or Halloween Havoc return. But I lean towards Halloween Havoc more as WWE have never used it and well if they intend on keeping Hell in a Cell themed PPV in October, at least they can rename the PPV to Halloween Havoc cause it fits and is an original name.

I would change Over the Limit into Bragging Rights and not replace the other one. In the fall there are WAY too many shows with Hell in a Cell usually getting all of two weeks of buildup. Space them out a bit and stop having Bragging Rights the months before Survivor Series. it completely defeats the purpose of Survivor Series so space them out a bit. Give the shows some time to build and the fans a chance to have some more money to spend and things will work FAR better.
