I Still Believe In Magic!

The Bearded One

Love is not admissable evidence.
That was awesome. The Cavs should change their name to the James Gang, because thats the only player who can do anything.

I'm gonna be honest, I thought it was going to be a blowout in the 1st half, but it just made the game that much more exciting.

You know you could probably just post your thoughts on the playoff games in the actual NBA thread, instead of starting a new thread with virtually the same title every other day.

Just a thought.

X does have a point though.... And that's saying something, seeing as how we never agree on anything, unless it involves the Beatles and apparently Bob Dylan...

Well what I had to say would probably be counted as spam, thats why I didn't post it there. After the Magic win game 2, I'll try to think of a more creative title. OK?

I don't really care to be honest though. You and about five people in the world care about the NBA right now...

It's more fun to spam and if he posted in the sports stadium he'd prolly get a whopping two responses.

That was my whole point of making that bar room sports spam/flame thread a year ago. Good times. I need to bring it back but it'd prolly get locked...

:banghead: There was no way the cavs should have lost that game and now I have to listen to everyone say it's over after one game, does it look as good as it did? no but it sure as hell ain't over. We will win the series and more than likely 4 of the next 5 games.

Nothing to worry about, just losing like that is really annoying.

lol.....

Pens-Caps Game 7 shatters ratings record
Thursday, May 14, 2009
By Ron Musselman, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Pittsburgh just might be able to stake a claim to the title Hockeytown.

The Penguins' 6-2 win over the Washington Capitals in Game 7 of their second-round NHL playoff series Wednesday night set another record, registering a 24.97 average rating on FSN Pittsburgh, according to Nielsen Media Research.

It marked the third consecutive game that FSN Pittsburgh shattered its own record for most-watched NHL game -- Game 6 drew a rating of 24.2 and Game 5 a 21.2.

Those three games were the highest-rated events ever carried by the local network and were the most viewed hockey games ever on any FSN regional sports network throughout the country. The Eastern Conference final and Stanley Cup final will be carried by Versus and NBC.

Over 100,000 People in the Pittsburgh area tuned in. Plus the people in Washington...

PITTSBURGH, May 11 -- With three of its biggest stars sharing one second-round stage, the NHL has relentlessly promoted this Washington Capitals-Pittsburgh Penguins series, and the results have been promising. FSN Pittsburgh earned a massive 21.38 rating for Saturday's Game 5, the highest-rated NHL game on any FSN regional sports network. Versus recorded a 1.2 rating during its national telecast of Game 2, making that the highest-rated and most-watched second-round game on cable since 2002.

Am I supposed to be impressed by the numbers from the city that the team plays in? I am willing to bet that those are not close to the average of the rest of the country.

Are you dumb? In that quote in clearly states a 1.2 rating for versus during its nationally televised game.

Brian, I swear you're a genius. I mean this is some Einstein shit you're pulling here.

People from Pittsburgh and Washington watching a Game 7 between the Caps and Pens who are from.........PITTSBURGH AND WASHINGTON. Wow, I'm totally impressed
