I Need To Voice My Dislike For Ziggler

I think the reason so many people on this forum think Ziggler is terrible is because there are so many more people that think he is great. It’s a natural backlash. When people overrate somebody the people that disagree go too far in the opposite direction to show their disagreement. Ziggler is a good mid card wrestler. He is not terrible but he is not great, and he is certainly not someone that steals the show. There’s nothing wrong with being a consistent mid carder. Not everyone belongs in the main event. If forced to pick a side between being great and being shit I’ll lean toward Ziggler being shit but really he falls in the middle.

And I think his hair is fine the way it is. Remember when he didn’t bleach his hair a couple years ago and came out looking like Bart Gunn? That didn’t work out so well.

Ziggler is the Steve Kerr that his fans want to convince us is a Scottie Pippen. Or worse, a Michael Jordan.

I absolutely agree. I've wondered what the fascination is with Dolph Ziggler for years. He's the sort of wrestler that makes me tune out when I'm watching wwe.

If I had a dollar for the amount of times I've changed the channel because Dolph Ziggler came out, I wouldn't be rich but I'd literally have $100 or so more.

- He looks crap.

- His moves are crap.

- He's too small.

- His voice is annoying.

I mean I could go on like this forever, he's just a shit entertainer, there's no two ways about it.

Thank you Y 2 Jake, thank you for bringing to light something that I'm sure everyone has been thinking for a while, and if you haven't been thinking it then you need to take a long hard look at yourself.

Everyone that steps in the ring with him. Hell he made Brodus Clay look like something more than a paraplegic elephant. Wrestling is a two way street and Ziggler has way to many solid matches to be a problem to work with.

You're The History right?

Ye you're still an idiot. Do you even realize what it means when they say, 'oh who has he made look good'. Try Foley, D Bry, Flair in the NWA for fucks sake, making someone look good doesn't mean they get a few 'new moves in' and shit.

Ziggler has good matches I agree, but the jobbers who Ryback faced on SD in 2011 did more than Dolph in making a talent 'look good'. Dolph is not making anyone look good. He just has above average matches. The guy who's in ring work has been constitently solid is ADR. He is fucking GOLD and people are too asinine to see that. Ye I know, he has made no connection with the audience. He just needs to stop talking altogether. When Micheal Cole can mock you, its time to shut the trap and slap the arm lock.

Poor Ziggler. I will come out and say it, yes, I like Ziggler. I really enjoy watching the guy work. Sure he might not steal the show most nights but you cant deny that he tries. I also believe that hes one of WWE top in ring workers on a consistent basis. Not THEE top worker but he does show strong work ethic, which is more than I can say for half the roster. Whether some think he tries to hard or not doesn't really matter. He kind of reminds me a bit like Shawn Michaels in that aspect; always striving to put on the best possible performance no matter which night it is.

I don't know guys, I just enjoying watching him in the ring more than I do 80% of the roster. His character could use some adjustments, sure and he might never be the top guy in the business but I still think Ziggler has much more to offer to the business.

What annoys me about ADR is his wrestling ability is great. His personality is a void and not even his wrestling skills can make him interesting.

I know what making "look good" means and apparently way better than you since you quoted D Bry as one of those guys, and specially since beating him down is so realistic that the guy who does it only makes me think: "it isn't that difficult to be honest". Dolph Ziggler makes his opponents look good, unless you've not been watching Ziggler, I can safely say that Alberto Del Rio was interesting for the first time in years since his work with Ziggler, if that is not make an opponent look good, I don't know what it is.

Also, for you to be able to make someone look good, you need to have opportunities to shine and every single one Ziggler had, he made others look good in the process. Your logic is invalid and you are the one that is an idiot - "Oh Ziggler sucks, Del Rio is the shit. I know nobody cares for Del Rio, but he's gold because I'm a self-centered prick"

And I agree that Del Rio is vastly underrated, but there is no way in hell he's a step above Ziggler or a step down for that matter. They are both great and solid workers and nobody is making them appear as the next big thing, as some are doing for the "one and only" Antonio Boresaro.

Cesaro has looked better going against talent like Cena, Sheamus, and Bryan than Ziggler has. It's not like Ziggler set the bar that high though.

Oh good lord, Ye buddy get over it. Cesaro's strength should be credited for the Miz ping pong on the barricades.

Here's the deal, Ziggler doesn't make anyone look good because in a smarky atmosphere like Chicago, every guy who can have a solid match will be cheered as heck. Unless you're ADR, he has distanced the crowd so much with his stupid gimmick and WWE's incessant demands for him to keep chasing the WHC. In today's WWE anybody can beat anybody and that value of "oh he beat THAT guy?!" is gone. The last exception is Cena. Ziggler puts on great matches but he doesn't make anyone else look good, unless and until the opponent, is good. And FYI, Ziggler's selling gets irritating because he doesn't pace himself. You can't sell a suplex the same as getting slingshotted to the turnbuckle. Its about perception and as good as Ziggler is, he has his flaws. When oh when has Ziggler made anyone significantly good?

Oh and ADR was the shit when he beat the Big Show earlier in the year too.

I also must make one point very clear.

I was pinged for using a specific word so I'm sure everyone knows what I mean when I mention that Dolph Ziggler is even more overly flamboyant than Darren Young in a not that there's anything wrong with that sense.
