I've always found the phrase so hilarious. Given the percentage of people out there who are always trying to find a way to make a cheap and easy buck, I think it's pretty safe to say teaching is not a "you can't do anything else, so you teach" profession. Even more amusingly, if it hadn't been for teachers, you wouldn't have been able to write that out.

And as far as gym goes, I don't teach gym. I teach physical education. Big difference. I also do other things, but they are not relevant to the discussion right now.
