How The Miz became AWESOME???

Dark Match Jobber
Hey Guy, What's everyone opinion on The Miz? I think in recent years a lot of people have started to appreciate him, I've been a huge fan since the beginning, hopefully he gets another run as Champ in 2018. Ideally I'd love to see the winner of Nakamura & AJ to get beat DBryan at Summerslam, who then carries the title on till Mania where him & Miz finally have their big match.

Perfect Storyline for 2018....

Nakamura beats Styles at Mania....
* Styles moves to Raw, Miz moves to Smackdown
Miz defeats Nakamura at Summerslam for the WWE Title
* slow build on Miz vs. D. Bryan feud

Wrestlemania 35
Miz (WWE Champion) vs. Daniel Bryan (Rumble Winner)

Also in terms of on air personality to replace D. Bryan as Smackdown GM? I would say Edge & Christian. They are comedy Gold!

Perfect, I guess having the Face D-Bryan winning at mania next year makes more Sense that a Heel Miz

For an independently made video, that was really good.

My opinion of the Miz? He's great. The odds were way against him, and he persevered and for better or worse became a top guy.

He's become more awesome with age. He filled the roles that he was good at, so he started out as a wise-cracking douche-bag caricature of a generation of lost-causes. At that time, when he declared that he was awesome it was fully meant to be as massively ironic as it was. He showed that he could generate heat, and he showed that he could still be good for TV after being ostracized by the locker room generals.

Miz referring to himself as being Awesome became less and less ironic as he started to become respected by some as a heel, but overall enjoyed by most as a heel. There's been matches where Miz has had to dig deep to find the endurance to pull out a win, and the crowd was with him through every grueling second that he struggled.

I used to not like the Miz, but he got better in the ring and on the mike, and I loved when he used to go "Really? Really?"

I am also wanting him to win at Wrestlemania over Rollins and Balor. Now, I have nothing against either of these guys, but there is another reason.

I want Miz to remain IC Champion for another two months. Then he breaks the record as the longest Intercontinental Champion of all time.

For thirty years, I have waited for someone to finally take the record off the worst IC champion of all time, that Elvis-impersonating joke, the Honky Tonk Man, and I hope Miz does it, and then, after the record is broken, then have Rollins or Balor be the one to topple him.

Miz won't be breaking that record. This is the cumulative time as champ. The Miz' current reign has only been a couple of months. He would need another full year to even get close to Honky Tonk Man's single reign record.

Honestly, all Miz really did was take Jericho's 2008-2010 gimmick and combine it with Punk's shoot-style promos. I'm not knocking him, as he's done really well with it, and everyone has their influences.
