The very fact that this thread has been created proves that Hogan has never passed the torch and never will.

When he was supposed to pass the torch to Warrior, he raised his arm and embraced him to ensure that Hogan would always be the most loved figure in the business.

When he lost to The Rock, he got the crowd behind him as the face (even though he was the heel of the match) and did nothing to fight it.

I have always felt that Hogan peaked in WCW, both as a performer and a professional. His loss to Goldberg wins by default in my book.

He has'nt passed the torch and he never will. He does'nt appear as much as he used to but when he does it's usually at the top of the card and he's built as the most important thing on the show. You cant pass the torch if you're in pretty much the same position you've always been.

^^^I agree with both. But as far as the quality of the actual matches. I'd have to go with the Rock at WMX8, since the Rock is the only one of the three opponents actually competent enough to carry Hogan through a halfway decent match.

i agree, it's him vs rock that was best. i just hope that he chooses to pass the torch to randy. cause randy is super heel, so no way in hell will he hug hogan or taunt with him

The Warrior/Hogan match was a decent match. They scripted the whole thing out, but it was very good. My favorite match was Rock/Hogan, its hard to say what the best pass the torch match is because now I'm confused as to what passing the torch means.
