Yeah, I know it's over a year late but I said that I was going to post a review up on my first ever concert. Most of you guys won't read it but to get a bit of discussion, let's see if you yourself can review the first ever concert you went to from memory.
I remember waking up that morning the happiest I had been in ages. and pumped for the night to start. a few predrinks at home and I was off to the concert. I remember sitting at the casino having a few drinks that This was it, my dream of seeing these guys was going to come true, I had infact been here before just a few months before hand but my partner didn't have ID so after waiting 2 and a half hours to get into the concert ( we was first obviously) only to be denied I knew that there was no way of getting denied into it this time. (my partenr brought these tickets to make it up to me. We ended up waiting 40 minutes to get in this time, still managed to be first.
Don't you hate it when you don't know who the band is that get's sent out to warm the crowd up? These guys weren't bad but god damn it, I wanted the motherfucking hilltop hoods. after about 50 minutes of these guys The crowd started getting restless. they/we started chanting Hilltoppa's Hilltoppa's until they finally came out. And that's when the fun began. I had never been to a concert before and wasn't for some reason expecting it to be so deafening when they appeared on stage.
They launched straight into the first song of the album pausing every now and then to talk or just to soak the crowd in. These guys are a weird combination. One bounces around the stage full of energy while the other just stands there and makes the rap movements with his hand.
at the end they said that it was all over and left the stage. the crowd started yelling encore and they came out five minutes after. this is basically what the last song was like, minus the fact that this was taken off the dvd, "parade of the dead" and the Tasmanian crowd minus to contrary belief are not zombies...

All in all this was a great concert and I will be going to see them this year when they come around again. the only thing I will be changing is I won't be going with my partners friend as she moaned the whole time.
