Heymans Rant & the Truth of the matter

Yeah they bust their butts taking great bumps. So what! They're not doing anything that is MAKING me take notice.

Where is this philosophy coming from? Let's put this into a world where you're probably more familiar with. Let's say that you've had a job for about 2 years or so. You've busted your ass endlessly for those two years, going above and beyond a call of duty. You're eying that promotion that you know is yours. But then, out of nowhere, some buffoon that's supposed to be retired comes out of the blue and takes the spot YOU worked YOUR ass off for.

That's what Ziggler is forced to go through every time another one of these legends come into town. He's out there night in and night out busting his ass off trying to make something of himself, trying to let WWE give him that push but they never do. Ziggler has impressed damn near everyone since the inception of the character, and if you say he hasn't then I'm questioning your interest in wrestling. Ziggler has everything in him to be the next big star. He has the look, the work ethic, the skills, and from what you hear, he's hungry for the spotlight. He deserves it, and I think that when legends come in to take that spotlight away from him, it's highly unfair.

Look at it how you want, but consider things the way the young guys do. They respect what the legends have done, but instead of tarnishing their legacies, why not stay retired and be honorable for it?

I will say I have become rather annoyed with some of the younger guys. It seems a handful of them believe having a good number of Twitter followers makes you a star. I watch guys like Ziggler and Kofi hit the ring, do their dance, hit some moves, refuse to tell any kind of story, and head to the back when it's over. They're drones. It's annoying.

If that's the new thing in pro wrestling, execute a bunch of random moves and post on Twitter, I'm not a happy camper.
