He's Got The Whole World Falling Asleep

I found Bray entertaining, and I still do. However, I agree with some here that say his promo work has become a little repetitive. My biggest issue is that lately he hasn't been booked as a credible threat by any stretch of the imagination. Believe me, this isn't some chance for me to try and bash Cena, but even now I haven't figured out the logic of the WWE to put Cena over Wyatt not just once at Wrestlemania, but also at Payback. They couldn't even give Wyatt a clean win at Extreme Rules, it was pretty much a handicap match the whole time thanks to Rowan and Harper, and the creepy choir boy.

I want him to succeed, I really do. But at this particular moment in time, it's hard to consider him a legit threat anymore. How am I supposed to believe he's the next great heel (or face in the future if the rumours turn out to be true) if the WWE give me the impression they're not as invested in him as much as we thought and hoped? He wasn't booked particularly strong in the MiTB match either, he was just another entrant who did nothing special. That's my personal opinion anyway. I hope his time will come, and I understand it takes time to build up future superstars, but I really see it in Bray Wyatt. But I don't think his booking these last few months has been positive for him in any sense of the word. Jericho putting him over these next couple of months or whatever does very little to make me believe he's back near the top of the food chain all of a sudden.
