HBO: 24/7 Flyers/Rangers: Road to the NHL Winter Classic

Just aired their the first episode of this returning series on Wednesday night, and just as it showed us last season, it's giving millions of viewers an incredibly powerful, detailed and in-depth look behind the scenes at two of the most storied and historic teams in the NHL with team more personalities than you can count (hello, Ilya Bryzgalov!).

Even if you don't like hockey, this documentary-style series is must-see as far as I'm concerned because you will simply never be exposed to this type of raw footage completely uncensored and without (or with little) bias.

Frankly, I think it may even draw in a number of new hockey fans to a sport back on the rise.

Episode two is by us and 24/7 is still living up to it's name, IMO. Beyond just what happens on the ice, it's doing a tremendous job of showing what life is like off the ice too, which is something you're just not used to seeing as a hockey fan.
