HBK To Come Back???

I'd like to think Shawn would be great at scouting young wrestlers and it does seem the only feasible possibility because he looks to be finished with wrestling in front of millions week in and week out.

I would mind him being a "pro" on ToughEnough or NXT but if he is in NXT it would almost garuntee his rookie success *if he enjoys working with whoever it is, a bit like Triple H-Sheamus*.

Another thing, I know he will never wrestle again but I don't mind the occasional Sweet Chin Music do you...?

I can't see it being as anything more then a non-wrestling role. He's noted in several interviews such as with Bill Simmons of ESPN his desire to honor his word to The Undertaker, whom he is said to respect more then anyone within the company.

As for a return as Nexus leader, or a manager type role, the biggest reason HBK retired was to be a full time father. He already was working on what was known as the "HBK schedule", where he only worked Raw's, and PPV's. So if he walked away from that, why would he return as a manager or stable leader?

The most likely option I see happening, at least in the forseeable future, is for HBK to headline the class of 2011 Hall of Fame at Wrestlemania. WWE is short at this time on big name HOF's, and HBK would certainly fit the bill. You could possibly see him involved in a short term angle around that time, but it's not likely to involve any wrestling. The only other thing I could speculate on, and it would be a long shot, is this....

HBK was the reason Nexus buried the Undertaker. Yes, I know that it sounds ludicrous and like a long shot, but Undertaker did retire HBK after defeating him at Wrestlemania. This would set up the very unlikely scenario that HBK is the secret Nexus leader, and the reason they've kept the reason under such close wraps. What would produce bigger shock value then that?

I think its the biggest longshot of longshots, but its something to simply consider.Everyone wants to see an HBK return and a great payoff to the Nexus storyline, and I can't think of much better then that. But the truth of the matter is, even if HBK is going to return for something, its not going to be to a large role that so many would like to see. He's simply given his all to the business, and I think this tweet is being too read into.

Well...Wrestlers always like to throw out little phrases or quotes to keep the imagination alive. Shawn Michaels is probably the best overall wrestler ever, in that he can do it all. Someone wrote something about a senior citizen slapping around a young guy half his age.... Ummm... Taker is the same age (45).... At 50, Hulk Hogan put on a hell of match with the Rock, with his ability. Can HBK still go? Absolutely! Will he? No, i doubt it. He has wanted to be retired for years. Do you realize you don't have to do anything to have a great wrestling match? Hogan and the Rock did nothing in there match, and it is considered one of the best matches ever. You have to capture the imagination of the crowd....Shawn Michaels is a master at that.

Secondly, someone said something about him having a wrestling school and being a trainer at FCW... That will not happen. Being a trainer at FCW means living there, moving your family, and spending several hours every day, including weekends, with talent. Shawn will not leave his church, move away from his home, and take a huge cut in salary to do that.... His work schedule would be greater than when he was an active wrestler.

Now.... the wrestling school.... Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy ran for 2 years. When WWE rehired him after his back surgery he gave the school to his head trainer Rudy Boy Gonzales. The school is still running in San Antonio called the Texas Wrestling Academy, along with it's promotion, Texas Wrestling Entertainment (Formerly, Texas Wrestling Alliance). I know this because I was trained there and have been apart of it for well over a year now. If Shawn Michaels does train again, it would be to help out TWA. It's close to his home and he still has a good personal relationship with RBG.

If Stone Cold wrestled Hulk Hogan right now.... Does anyone really think it would be a good wrestling match? Of course not..... But everyone would pay to see it and would want to watch it.... Wrestling has little to do with anything once you're a huge name. Look at Edge.... Edge used to fly around the ring, doing crazy stuff... When is the last time you seen him go to the top rope? He doesn't have to, he's over.... Shawn Michaels still performs near the level he did when he started....He's that good. A great match can consist of a couple spots, grabbing a hold and working the crowd....

Only way I would want to see him come back is like this
Taker returns at Rumble and eliminates everyone in Nexus
And is coming for Wade.
Then Shawn is there to hock something DX related or is just in town and Nexus mocks him for being old and retired and how Wade will do something Shawn never could. Take care of Taker
Nexus attacks Taker-Shawn makes the save and gets a Tombstone for his trouble
Next week they meet in the ring and Shawn wants an apology and Taker laughs and says I dont trust you. For all I know you are behind Nexus and you want them t do what you coudlnt beat me at Mania
Shawn says No he beat him fair and square his carrer is done if anything he wants the Taker to never lose as if he does it makes his matches mean less.
Staredown
BOO Beep
May I have you attention please
And I quite
"The General Manager has decided that Wade Barret will meet the Undertaker at Wrestelmania....And that Shawn Michaels will be the special Enforcer
Tease tension Maybe Shawn even superkicks Taker here

And At WM Shawn keeps Nexus out and ultimately calls the 1-2-3 for Taker

I have no idea what it will be, but I don't think he'd do something if it was half-assed or would tarnish his legacy.

Slightly off topic - look how many people on these boards have changed their tunes. "He's never wrestling ever again. Deal with it."

One year ago 90% of those people were talking about how HBK would lose to Taker at Mania but return a few months later because "nobody stays retired" and "rumors say he's got a few years left". I was one of the only people saying if he retired, he wasn't coming back. Not tooting my own horn. Just saying. The winds shift slightly and with them so do most people.

If he does come back, hopefully it will be in a backstage or manager type role. I'm not too keen on him being revealed as the general manager though. Shawn loves the business and he will be a huge asset to the FCW guys that are looking to come up and he has trained several wrestler so it's not like he doesn't know what he's doing.

I think that Shawn would not only be a great GM for Raw but also be a great over leader of Nexus. I think the shock and aw factor of this would be good enough. Shawn was great as the commissioner of Raw way back in the day and i think that he can just as good of job as he did back then. I am still pushing for Bischoff however.
Now to address this quote:

please let this be a joke. Flair was bad enough I don`t wanna see another senior citizen slapping guys half their age and twice their size and be expected to believe he`s tough. Yes WWE is scripted but it should be at least semi believable! HBK had his moment at wrestlemania with undertaker, I`m sure he`s made eplenty of money over the years, just let it go already.

Are you kidding me dude? Shawn has given everything he has to the wrestling business and for you to say this is just a pathetic excuse for a wrestling fan. Dude Shawn can do whatever he wants in the wrestling business because he has earned it. Shawn can probably still go in the ring and i wouldn't doubt that for one second. Yea his eyes are messed up but i still think he is better than 95% of the stuff WWE has now. I would pay to see Shawn face anyone any day of the year over anyone else, he is that good.

I would love Shawn back in WWE. I would love to see him wrestle again too, but as much as i want to see it, I dont. As I want him to keep his word. He is in no way too old to be wrestling now, but in 20 years I hope he doesnt come back and humilate himself. I dont think he is the GM or leader of Nexus, but I at this stage would take him (or for that matter HHH) in any compassity, just bring them back!!!
HBK is a god!!! The god of wrestling!

ok it's sad to see you guys keep guessing what shawn is going to do!!!

this is what he in not going to do:
wresle shawn is done in that department he might street fight or somthing of that matter but no a match for a title or something.

he is not the leader of nexus. i can tell you now i know its the million dollar man

raw gm is not shawn or HHH it's Micheal Cole

anouther dx thing no not till 2012.

HALL of Fame no not till 2012 " this year is going to be undertaker watch
----------------------------------------------------------------
things he will do :
creative write for smachdown and co write for raw
work on NXT
go into the wwe hall of fame in 2012 " inducted by the undertaker" with HHH as DX
REF a match between HHH and Shamus turning on HHH
REF a match at Maina with the undertaker in it but be fair and let taker win.
work on tough enough
i also know he working on a rebuild for WCW thats in the works latter this year

I dont see Shawn or the wwe going back on his word. I mean they set this shit up like a huge thing and I dont see him pulling a Ric flair with HBK's type of person. If you want my opinion I dont think hes coming back and if he does then Undertaker will be angry.

okay ive got an idea how bout this The miz comes out and says as wwe champion he would like to defend his title at wrestlemania against a true champion shawn michaels and the miz says i challenge you hbk to win the royal rumble and challenge me for the title. hbk wins the rumble for the 4th time beating the undertaker which gives him a legacy goes on to wrestlemania and defeats the miz. this also oddly enough givges Miz creditbility . the following night hbk announces his retirement and gives up the title - legacy number 2
we can also say goodbye to shawn properly

well remember a while back that wwe wanted hbk to ref takers match at wm this year maybe to cost him that would be interesting to see cena vs taker with hbk at the ref. you can have him guest host a little before elimination chamber and have him hit the sweet chin music on taker. then have the raw gm announce that he is the ref for the match. then have hbk interfere with takers matches on smackdown and cost him the title or somthing
