Former TNA, WWE and ECW star, Kid Kash posted the following on his official Twitter page:

"HI Guys, ITS OFFICIAL i have just signed back with TNA @IMPACTWRESTLING"

Gotta say, I'm pretty pumped about this. Kash has always been one of my favorite X Division wrestlers, and in terms of natural heel ability he's stars above the rest.

I wanted him back after Hardcore Justice 2010, and having to wait certainly sucked, but his being back is what matters most here. Great signing.

Thoughts?

Me too. He's was great in ECW (original) and also, when he was in WWE a short period of time. He really has a lot of tattoos compared to when he first came to TNA......... no homo

Agree 100% Kash is a damn good signing and will help the X-Division he's a good Veteran talent and could play a pretty effective heel. I thought he was really impressive in the contract match he lost against Aries and Jimmy Rave. I also hope that means that this means more guys from the X qualifiers will be signed in the coming days or weeks.
Kash is a Good signing.

Great signing for TNA, looks like the X Div ppv and matches on Impact have opened a few people's eyes to see that it is well worth the investment.

Kash is an awesome talent and if booked well can bring alot to TNA/IW

Good for him, I've always found him to be entertaining. On another note, they should hire all the guys in that 4 way from Sunday IMO.

This is a good signing for TNA, I like Kash he is solid in the ring and has personality, this will help boost the X division for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing some new match ups, and hopefully they will sign a couple of the others they brought in for the ppv.

I had said yesterday in one of the release threads that I hoped they were releasing GenMe & O Jordan to free up money to sign some of these guys looks like that might be what they are doing

Good signing indeed. I haven't seen much of his work outside of his match in the X Division showcase and in WWE but I do think his signing could be a hint of what's to come for the X Division in the future. I wouldn't be surprised if more signings for the division occur in the future. Again, great signing and I'm psyched to see him go in the ring again.

In the words of Joey Styles, Kid Kash is "Mr. Total Nonstop Attitude".

Agree with the general consensus, fantastic signing, the dude is a great wrestler both in the air and on the mat. He has a really tough look about him for a small guy, impressed me a lot when he came in a few short weeks ago, and if he wasn't in the match with eventual winner Austin Aries you have to believe it was going to be his match.

Can't wait to see him back on a full-time basis.

Good signing by TNA. Kash has always been one of my favorite guys in the Original ECW (besides The Dudleys, Raven, Sandman and Shane Douglas). Glad to know i'm going to see Kash in TNA again.

I'll parrot the masses... great signing. He looked good in the 3-way on Impact, and I was actually bummed at the time that both he and Aries couldn't advance.

I think this is another indication that creative is interested in putting more emphasis on the X-division, but plan to do it by focusing on guys with strong personalities like Aries, Kendrick, Shelley, and now Kash.

The X-division has been without any true heels or fully developed storylines for quite some time now. Now TNA has more of the kind of talent the division needed to remedy that problem. It is exciting to see that a re-emergence of the X-division is possibly in the cards.

One of the hottest X Division heels there ever was. Loved his feud with AJ and Hardy. He seems a bit misshapen, but he gave a very solid performance last month. Wonder if Dallas/Lance Hoyt will turn up as his bodyguard again.

That would be a pretty good way to bring Hoyt back, but there's really no reason to do so. The focus should be on Kid Kash and the fact that the X-Division needs a big heel. I think you make Kash & Austin Aries the main heels and have them fued with Brian Kendrick, Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin when he returns.

Whelp, it's time for another edition of "JJ plays devil's advocate", starring everyone's favorite Jew in wrestling (yes I'm more popular than Barry Horowitz and that bald guy from WCW.......Goldstein or something?), the Shaman of Shabbas, JJYanks121!

I'm indifferent on this signing as I should be. Kid Kash is fine. He can work a match and looked good in the triple threat, but a "great" signing, really? A 41 year old with long grey hair is "great"? Really?

It's ok and nothing better. If he's coming in to put over some young guys, fine. Otherwise, total waste of a signing. He has some talent, but he's never drawn a dime so to try and push him now would be asinine. Undercard matches would be fine as he can work and get lesser names over I think, but that's about it. Let's not go crazy though. It's an ok signing and that's it.

On another note, why is it that every signing TNA makes is "great" while every release is "no big deal"? Based on that, every move they make is the exact right move right? I'm fucking with ya'll on this one, but I did find it amusing. I wonder though, if Kid Kash was literally released in 3 weeks, would all the same posters be writing "it's no big deal that he got released. He wasn't that important in the grand scheme anyway". You probably would, and I wouldn't blame you. That said, let's call it like it is. Kash has a cult following and will get some cheers (which is why he should NOT be cast as a heel), but he's not a game changer. He's a hard working guy that will work the lower card. That's fine and all, but don't expect more.

And that's another edition of "devil's advocate", so this is your buddy JJ saying keep your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds, keep shooting for the stars and driving fancy cars, and always, always always remember, if you shake it more than twice, you're playing with it. Goodnight everybody!

Obviously you didn't see the 3 even though you said you did.

It was 4 weeks ago, I could have sworn he had long hair at the time. If he cut it recently, awesome. You do know the whole thing I wrote was farcical and meant for a laugh right?

Pretty unexpected news from this company. They sign Aries, then Kash. Is it a rebirth of the X Division? Kash could be a Benoit/Douglas for the division. Anyway I like what I see so far.

Great signing. This past Sunday's PPV was a clear sign that the smaller, faster guys can sell to some degree and put on a great show. This is something sorely missed in wrestling today and hopefully the first of many signings here! Kash is an effective heel and he will do a great job teaching the new guys

It's all good. I thought maybe you mistaken him with Jerry Lynn or something. Anyways he had the short hair for the match because I remember thinking that he look like Jeremy Renner from Hurt Locker.

He doesn't so much in the picture I posted because his hair isn't flipped up in the front like it was on impact Wrestling 4-5 weeks ago.

I'm happy about this! This is a great sign for TNA. He's one of the old guys that I think everyone is happy to see. I hope Impact Wrestling focuses more on the X Division, those matches the last few weeks have been refreshing. Remembered why I liked wrestling so much as a kid.

I also hope IW signs: Jerry Lynn, Low Ki.

Also I kind of hope RVD moves into the X Division for a while. I always thought it was weird that Sabu never got the X Title when he was in TNA, and that Jeff Hardy didn't get it in his first run with the company.

I agree IDR, Kash is a fantastic heel, there is just something about him that always gets heat no matter where he is. He is a great talker too, so he will be sure to get the impact zone as riled up as he did in his initial TNA run when he was their number 1 mid-card heel.

As I said in the "you can't sign them all" thread yesterday, Kid Kash is still a top class in-ring performer and he will be a brilliant addition to the X-Division. He is so much more rounded that most of the other X-Division wrestlers has he can not only wrestle, but has a personality that will get him over that way.

He was a favourite in ECW, I loved his previous TNA work and MTFO when he came to WWE, so I am pumped that he is back in TNA. He will definitely be an asset to them.

As I mentioned in my post yesterday, Kash would be a perfect addition to the Immortal faction. He has achieved success wherever he has been in wrestling, and has a more credible CV than most other X-Division wrestlers. As they are a heel group, Kash would fit right in there, and would allow Immortal to go after the X-Division belt again, with a cruiserweight style wrestler, rather than Abyss.

Why would that seem so wrong? The belt just got removed from my 350 plus pound masochist of an uncle. A 41 year old high flyer would be quite the upgrade.

Considering the little emphasis the division had not that long ago, bringing in one of it's top heels from 6 years ago is a major step. Let's face it. When Robbie E is the X Division's top heel, anyone else is a major step up.

People get happy. People move on. Let's face it. It's better than bitching about the casual releases of MVP and Chavo Guerrero and putting Mason Ryan in the main roster. But I'll bite. TNA signed El Zorro a while back. And I'm damn glad he hasn't shown up yet. Worst choice of talent to borrow from AAA in my eyes.

Fuck that. I wanna fly like a Super Saiyan.

I agree that Kid Kash can bring something to the X-Division if it is going to get revived. The guy can still work and certain can put guys over. I was just pointing out the verbiage used by many, saying that it is a "great" signing. In my opinion, a guy brought in to work the undercard is a decent signing. He's talented and he brings something to the table, but he's not going to sell tickets. Never has, never will. That's why I presented it as such. I never once said it was a bad signing, just that it wasn't "great". Helpful perhaps, but great to me would imply that the guy is going to be injected into major storylines and be promoted to sell tickets. Something tells me that's not going to happen here.

So, no harm intended, just not into hyperbole I guess.

Given his X history & natural heelage and couple with the network dictating that the X Division is to be treated seriously by Bischoff & Hogan and I can see Double K as Immortal's 'X' guy.

I agree with you on the selling tickets part. For some reason I am nervous when it comes to TNA to sign somebody 2 months later, they don't know how to book them right u know what i mean? I talk to a friend of mine about Kid Kash signing with TNA, i had said to him the only way they going to bring more guys for the X Division, they have to get rid of whoever they are not using or can't use in long term, because the last thing we as a fans want to hear is " why is that guy not getting push" or "why he hasn't been on tv for months" Kid Kash would be good for the X Division, but it all depends on how TNA books in on the show
