Hard Justice at The Arena!!

Ruthless-RKO

F*ck Friends, Rather die wiv ma AK!
Had TNA known before hand they were going to do a ECW themed ppv...do you think they should have held it at The Arena, AKA ECW Arena...

I think it would have been really good if it was, could attract the old ECW fans and also sold tickets...I think that arena as larger capacity than the iMPACT Zone...

What do you think???

I'm torn between this. On one hand, they'd certainly bring something else to the show but, there's a big downside.....

A lot of the TNA PPV's have, recently, been a let down. This wouldn't normally be a problem but, as Batista and Big Show found out, ECW fans are quite happy to shit all over the wrestlers in the ring if they're not impressed with what they see. Can you imagine the ECW-ites shitting on Flair (you just know he'd go ape-shit about it) and Abyss? And, let's face it, they would hound Russo something rotten.

Again, the atmosphere would be amazing but, it just depends if TNA want to risk it. WWE tried and it went so wrong for them. Be nice if it did work though

WWE were at the Hammerstein Ballroom...which is in New York, a wrestling city i believe...and I have to admit, the crowd their, were just going mad witht the WWE wrestlers..and the amount they shit on Cena...

It's ECW fans though, its what they do and what they are known for doing aren't they??

TNA is set to do a house show at "The Arena" on Sept. 24th, and I think as far as TNA and "The Arena" goes that is prolly the best way to go right now, I think having TNA's first trip to the arena be at a PPV could be a massive a disaster, if the fans don't like what they see things could spin out of control very very fast, the fans that fill the Arena are not he type that just sit on their hands and just stay quite if they don't like something, they are loud, they are vocal, & they will not be ignored, they will do what ever they feel needs to be done to be heard, and this could lead to very very bad things for TNA, this happens at a house show, the rest of the world doesn't see it, and their reputation doesn't take nearly as big of a hit as it would to some guy tuning into a PPV only to see & think "TNA's fans hate TNA, this company must really really suck"

Further more doesn't the inside of the Arena more or less look like a massive toilet bowl?, I mean this place isn't the most atheistically pleasing to eye building, having a TNA PPV in a building that makes the Impact Zone look like MSG, well do I really need to go on?

Yeah I know it was New York but they had all the old ECW regulars there and that's my concern. TNA has certain wrestlers they'll hate (Flair, Hogan, Abyss and quite possibly Matt Morgan at least) and has been knocking out some inferior PPV's lately. ECW fans liked violence and appreciated good wrestling matches. If TNA didn't produce what they're capable of, can you imagine the shit-storm Dixie would see?

Even though I see downsides, i'd love them to do it, just because the crowd is something different and, if for nothing else, TNA could actually have Sandman come out to his proper theme music, that alone would make the PPV atmosphere crazy!

This would be entertaining for all the wrong reasons. Don't think it would help TNA make money or develop their product. If through house shows TNA is able to gain a following at the arena in a few years then maybe they can go for it.

Anything out of the impact zone would be nice. But as most of you stated, the hardcore cult known as the ECW fans would go nuts over this. And not it a good way.

As long as it isn't in the impact zone, but not in an area where ECW fans will run insane over the TNA talent.

I actually think if Hard Justice was about putting the best of ECW (currently around and available) like Tajiri & Corino etc vs the best of TNA like AJ & Angle and then bring RVD & Abyss as well, then the card would be interesting and even an ECW crowd would tolerate/enjoy it.

I'm certain it would be better than 90's ECW even if AJ & Angle showed.
