GSB's Post-Vasectomy After Care LD - What Rhymes With Sterile?

It's kind of a blind date. One of my friends set it all up. It's basically one of my friends and his girlfriend who I've already met and known for a couple of years and then it's the one friend who set it all up and his girlfriend who I've yet to meet, and her friend who is my date. I don't like my chances though seeing as I've been told by my friend that she's into another guy but not yet dating him. I'll let you know the details when I get back if it's not too embarrassing. Currently waiting on said friend to pick me though seeing as I refused to take CTA this late at night. To pass the time I'm switching between Smackdown and getting a head start on the excessive gaming.

Just have a good time tomorrow and don't sweat the girl. If things don't work out now because she has another interest, being a cool guy now may get you somewhere with her after things fail with the current guy. I casually knew my wife through mutual friends for about three years before we ever went out together. She had no interest in me for those first three years but I guess I never did anything too embarassing or pathetic in that time and my stink finally sunk in with her and now we've been together for over eight years (married five).

If you are interested in her and want to make a good impression be sure to ask her questions about herself and let her talk. You may even want to think about a few topics to discuss (never bring up that you heard she's interested in another guy). I have no idea what you discuss with girls nowadays (Carly Rae Jepsen?), but then again I didn't know what to talk to girls about back when I was younger either.

Regardless, you're going to an amusement park so fun should be your prime directive. Enjoy, and sorry if you weren't looking for advice.

This whole thread has been a very entertaining read I must say.

Since you asked about peoples plans going to a WWE house show sunday with 2 or 3 friends, We plan to be the loudest. most annoying people at the show then get some beer afterwards at any place selling it and go back to my buddys house and get wasted....should be a fun night.

I find being comfortable in the situation brings more of an ease to the thing, and thus, you'll be better in conversation. Let her talk and if you find some common interests then hop in the conversation more. It helps for me when I meet new ladies, at least the older ones. Have fun, though. It's a blind date, so just say fuck it and make the best of the night. Worst thing that happens is you don't go out again, assuming you don't commit any illegal acts.

Is there much of a Chinese population in Northern Ireland? I wouldn't think so but I've never left N. America (is Hawaii considered part of NA?). Have fun.

There is actually. Britain as a whole is remarkably multicultural. Enough for my small town to have 5 Chinese takeaways all run by people originally from China, although that might be more of a supply/demand thing - we love are Oriental and subcontinental food.

Good question on the status of Hawaii. Politically, North America. Ethnically, Oceania/Australasia. Don't think that answers the question. Perhaps the real answer is "none."

Your one and only goal should be to get CM Punk to punch you, anything less is failure. ;)

I also think there could be money in bringing buckets of chicken (or maybe ribs) for Ryback. WWE will see this as an opportunity to squeeze money adveritising out of their shows and make you VP of Marketing for giving them the idea.

Well they are in a Last Man Standing Match so if they come near me I must get Punk to punch me....I wouldnt even sue just give me a signed copy of Punk's DVD and a free copy of WWE13 and im good...maybe throw in a meet and greet with everybody backstage too.

Great idea for Ryback.

Another question, you're the one person on this forum that delivers interesting informative facts (at least I assume they are facts) that I assume came straight from your head as opposed to a Google search. Do you really have that much stored up there or do you do a little research before posting.

I actually am sitting in my car right now after a disastrous Chinese Food experience where my 18-month old was out of control. I am waiting for the rest of the group while my kid sits in the back and hopefully calms down. One more reason for the vasectomy.

P.S. - Another test failed. The fucking sperm refuse to die.

Video gaming did not materialise. The Chinese/Indian buffet that was laid on plus the beer made it an unneeded distraction.

I fear what a mix of Indian and Chinese would do to my taste buds and internal organs. But beer makes everything better. I've known a lot of Irish people since I moved to Chicago but no Nothern Irish. How are you guys culturally different?

I will admit to the occasional Google search but only really for more information about something I already know something about.

No worries, still impressed by your vast knowledge of history and geography. If they ever put Who Wants to be a Millionaire back on American TV and I somehow get on I may have to ask you for your phone number.

Good lord I've missed out on some shit. How goes it, GSB?

Like I said life is pretty dull since the bachelor party I went to. Work, colds, dad is in town. What are you up to? Anything happening this weekend? Do you have kids?

Have you tried sitting on a microwave?? Its a little sci-fi, but it should do the trick.

Just wanted to say that you are fucking killing me with your comments in Todd's Meat is Murder thread.

I must spread more rep.

Like Hammer once said, the sperm is "Too legit to quit".

A cultural reference I actually can follow. I appreciate this.

A sign from the gods that you are destined to breed.

I'm going with the wife to Vegas in January (Southwest ran a phenomenal sale that we jumped on $170 round trip a person). If the sperm is not dead by then I'm taking Mack Militant's microwave and a hacksaw to the jewels.

Vegas? Surely there'd be a drive-thru vasectomy place off The Strip somewhere?

"50% off and $25 worth of chips if you were recommended by a friend!"

There was nothing overly spicy - it was just hella tasty.

Culturally, a lot less different than some would like to admit. Even more similar that the US and Canada.

Of course, we are pigeon-holed most by our religio-political difference - Protestants and Catholics; Nationalists/Republicans and Unionists/Loyalists; although that is Northern Ireland, rather than the whole island.

"Who do you want to call?"

"Barbosa."

"And who is he?"

"Some ivory tower, know-it-all from an internet wrestling forum I frequent."

Just working and football, GSB. No kids but I got a terrier that drives me bananas at times. But I love him to death.

I have a terrier too, What kind is yours?

My house show plans for today went up in smoke, Friends changed their minds about going an hour ago pretty annoyed with them.

Not quite sure but he's a mix. We adopted him from a shelter. Gets me up before dawn every morning. That blows about the homies flaking on you man.

Well it turned out that my friend's girlfriend ended up being sick plus she secretly didn't want to go so it ended up just being me, my friend, and my other friend and his girlfriend which was a little weird in the beginning because they were having their own relationship issues but it turned out to be a great time, we all ended up bonding a lot more than I thought we all would. We only went on two rides but the amount of conversation in the two hour long lines we had to wait through was pretty enjoyable. The haunted house was fun, later that night we went to a friends house and didn't end up going to sleep around five AM. Not too sad I didn't go on a date that night, it's not the most important thing in my life right now, there will be another time. Pretty good weekend and it looks like the fun might continue next Saturday.
