Green Bay's winning ways

Dark Match Winner
Well if you haven't heard, now you did. The Green Bay Packers beat the Atlanta Falcons 48-21. Green Bay obviously crushed Atlanta. I originally thought that Green Bay would lose to The Eagles in a low scoring game. Boy, Am I wrong. Beating Michael Vick and the Eagles is a feat on its own. But, beating Matt Ryan and the Falcons is another feat. Two GREAT teams in a row.

What is the key to the Packers' success?

Do you think that the Packers could beat the winner of CHI/SEA?

Is Aaron Rodgers deserving of a MVP Award?

Offense

yes

No

Green Bay are the most talented team in the NFC, Aaron Rogers is the best QB in the NFC, it was only a matter of time before they strung a few good games together, they should comfortably beat Chicago/Seattle next week but i really wouldnt be surprised if they got beat, the packers are an enigma.

The key to them winning is Aaron Rodgers. He's been amazing in the postseason, and just makes so many great throws and plays that other QB's couldn't make. Even with all of their losses to injuries this year, Rodgers has still managed for them to be a great offensive team.

I not only think the Packers could beat either Chicago or Seattle, but I think they will beat them. Rodgers is playing at his best right now, and, although Home Field Advantage will be a factor, I don't see either teams defenses holding them to a small enough margin to win. They've already beaten two good teams on the road, and it wouldn't shock me if Green Bay were considered the favorites in the game.

As for Rodgers for MVP, not this year. Tom Brady was too good, and Rodgers missed two games. He's been great and would be in contention any other year, but Tom Brady was at a whole nother level that it almost seems impossible that he wouldn't be given the award. Soon, though, he'll get at least one. He's showing this postseason that he's a top 5 QB, and could soon be right on the level of Manning and Brady. Within time, he'll get at least one.

There is a reason Green Bay was the heavy favorite to make it to the Super Bowl before the season started and that is because they are one talented football team. Now they aren't as strong as they were going into the season, but they still have a great core of players. Tramon Williams has played his ass off this season and is arguably their best CB this year. Green Bay has been successful because they have a great offense and a great defense. It is an overall team effort when it comes to the cheese. I do believe the Packers are going to the Super Bowl as they've been the best performing team thus far in the postseason. As for Aaron Rodgers, no he doesn't deserve the MVP. His performance in the playoffs has no effect on the voting for that award and he is nowhere close to Brady in my eyes for the MVP this year. Rodgers will win MVP's down the road and he has a great chance at winning a Super Bowl this year if they can keep up their play at the level they are currently churning out.
