Goldberg vs. ??? at WM 27

Sorry if this has been done before but i saw nada. And if this is the wrong section I apologize.

I've heard the rumor about Goldberg possibally coming back for one more at WM for sometime now. Never been the biggest fan of "Da Man" but the big money matches would absolutely be Goldberg vs Taker (Da Man vs The Deadman), HHH (been done and not worth the rematch), Orton (the closest we will get to Goldberg vs Stone Cold) or Cena (The pop alone is worth it IMO)

Neither one will happen. I don't feel Goldberg would come back just to lose. So with those out the window the question is Who's Next?

My top 3 would have to be:

Sheamus: Monster vs Monster. The type of match we hoped we would see when Goldie fought Brock.

Chris Jericho: This guy can make anyone look good and doesn't HAVE to win to satisfy his ego. And he is one of the few WCW guys in the WWE that is still active. What better place than in ATL.

Edge: 3 words "Spear Versus Spear" Goldberg has expressed on twitter that he doesnt like others using "HIS" move. I believe the quote went something like "Gotta say all these yahoos using the Spear irks me. Just shows how over it was and how less-than-creative they are"

This is all a matter of "If" Goldberg comes back, there is nothing set in stone for his one time return match, but I know thats not what you were getting at and I wont be a douche.

If creative doesn't decide to do sheamus vs taker or if sheamus isn't fueding with triple H then I could easily see Sheamus calling out goldberg weeks, maybe a month or 2 prior to WM. Say if Goldberg was to be inducted into the hall of fame, we can have Sheamus cut a promo saying goldberg is overrated, hes never been in the ring with someone like me, etc. just classic cocky heel statements. Goldberg comes out spears him and its on. I think it would be a great monster vs monster battle and like you said the Lesnar/Goldberg match we were supposed to see.

Only problem I see with this if it were to happen would be that Sheamus more then likely would get buried if he stepped into the ring with goldberg which I wouldn't want to see happen. Cause in all honestly 90% of the opponents goldberg faces all end up being destroyed by him. I know thats how goldberg is booked, but I wouldn't want it to happen to Sheamus considering how much they are building him up as a legit main event stay even though he's pretty much there and I don't see him going anywhere soon. Sheamus would more then benefit from beating Goldberg in goldberg's one off match, but that would not be likely at all, I doubt Bill would come back for one match just to lose. Especially at Wrestlemania.

Sorry for the rant just so many "What if" scenarios you know? But to short answer your question I would want to see Sheamus vs Goldberg. Would be good and looks good on paper

It may seem odd but I kinda of want to see a Goldberg Vs. Ezekiel Jackson. Only because both men are huge powerhouses. Everyone says Goldberg dominates and looks like he buries everyone. Well Ezekiel Jackson is no small man and im sure Goldberg couldn't make him look weak. Sure Goldberg would get the win but it shouldn't be a short match and not one man has control for long. Each goin back and forth puttin on a good big power moves match. The match would even help Jackson make more of a name for himself. Right when EJ started to make his name, he gets injured. Not sure how or even why it would happen to put them 2 together but I think it'd be a good match.

I would expect they would go someone like Sheamus.

That is if they don't wanna do Sheamus v Taker.. which I think they will.

I expect Taker v Cena will be Taker's last mania.. which Ross seems to think is WM30 so that shouldn't be this year.

for me it would have to be Goldberg vs Shaemus but for goldberg to return for one last match you know it will have to be john cena just for the pay off and to be fair i doubt vince would want his baby cena loosing

Problem is Goldberg will not lose. He would not agree to come back to a one off match at the Grand Daddy to lose so Cena&Taker are Noo noos . Goldberg Orton could happen but Orton would have to go Full heel to make it great. I think theres 3 that could happen and a random one i would like to see
