Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

For anyone who cares, Netflix has now added Kings Speech, Hugo, Take This Waltz, & Casa De Mi Padre.

Nice, I need to see Kings Speech. Saw Hugo, it's awesome. Take This Waltz I'm unfamiliar with, and Casa De Mi Padre... I'll put it on my Instant Queue but likely won't get around to it.

I'm currently in the process of downloading all 5 seasons of The Wire. I'm flying to Florida this weekend, and between the two flights I'm going to have about 8 hours to watch these shows, not to mention I'll probably squeeze in a couple episodes each night I'm there.

I bought Hugo soon after it came out and I still haven't watched the damn thing. I just can't get motivated to watch anything nowadays. This month won't do me any good as I only have three days off (Dec 1, 22, 29). However I may have vacation and sick days that I need to use or else they go to waste. If that is the case, it is gonna be an easy month of work. And next year Wrestlemania will be a paid weekend, that'll be nice.

THIS APRIL IN NEW JERSEY, THEO AND THE MUFFIN TOPPER WILL BE TEAMING UP WITH THE COMBINED FORCES OF IRISHCANADIAN25, D-MAN, THE MIGHTY NORCAL, AND JGLASS TO TAKE ON THE FORCES OF EVIL... AND PARTY OUR MOTHERFUCKING DICKS OFF!

Looking forward to it <3.

Were these hours voluntary because I would have been irritated for not having at least one of the two off. Regardless, it's good money!

Didn't WZ have a wilder rep system like that at one point?

They were and Idk, but welcome to The Glass Ass Smizzyy. Which WZCW character are you again?

Yes it did, Jake, sam, and a few other older posters put me in like 5 red bars with like 4 reps.

What did you do to deserve that?

Appreciate it and I'm writing for Jacoby Capone. Still working out kinks in my RPs however I do frequently read the vets' work when trying improve. Doc's recent RP vs New Church is something I'd consider inspirational. Like your guys' work a lot.

No, it is just where I fall on the schedule. Being short staff sucks. JGlass (and everyone here) has heard of my complaints of working stupid hours. Well we had a girl quit (went to drug rehab, left, prostituted, came home, back to rehab) so we've been covering the hours cause apparently we don't have the money right now to bring in a new person. So my nice 4 days a week has become 6.

Ahh man, I can't wait. It is pretty much the only thing that keeps me going these days haha.

Take This Waltz is an indy film starring Michelle Williams & Milenko look-alike, Seth Rogan, it was directed by Sarah Polley. I have no clue what it's about, I think it's suppose to be a romantic dramedy, all the buzz I've heard from it is that it's good though, & it's Rotten Tomatoes scores seem to support that as well. Kings Speech is on my queue, though I'm in no hurry to watch it. Casa De Mi Padre is something that I would like to see, though it's going to have to be a weekend movie since it's all in subtitles, & the last thing I feel like doing after work is reading a movie, this is what has kept me from watching movies like Oldboy, & The Good, The Bad & The Weird for so damn long. Hugo I'll probably watch later this week though, I still also have to watch The Artist as well.

It appears the Carolina Panthers did something last night that my beloved Packers could not do this week, well two things actuelly, win, & make me happy by putting $90 in my pocket in the process:D I think I might be getting me a new game (even though I have a stack of unfinished games sitting next to my TV as it is).

Well after a large ton of cramming and homework today I can not wait for my final on Wednesday. This past week just sucked numerous amounts of butt holes.

Just saw Wreck It Ralph. I was somewhat disappointed, but it was a good movie. Disney can clearly still get by without Pixar's help, but Pixar still makes the superior film. I thought Brave was better than Wreck It Ralph.

Thank you for putting my thoughts on the movie into words. I knew I liked it, but I couldn't quite figure out how to word it.

In terms of films I've seen in theaters since October, the order would go...

1) Cloud Atlas
2) Argo
3) Lincoln
4) Wreck It Ralph

I plan on seeing both Silver Linings Playbook and The Hobbit by the end of December, so the list should be at least 6 films long by the end of the year. Now all I have to do is remember the other films I saw during the year...

I'm planning on seeing Life of Pi tonight only by strong reccomendation, knowing nothing about it. This weekend I'll see Lincoln, which of course, I'm stoked over.

I can't tell if I want to see Life of Pi or not. It looks beautiful and I can see it being fairly engrossing... but a movie about a dude trapped in a boat with a tiger? That sounds tedious.

I have not seen it, but I've heard good things... from you. To be honest I haven't heard anyone talk about it besides you, Dowds.

The Raid is a pretty good action film. The fight scenes are choreographed wonderfully.

I saw this sport on TV today, I wasn't sure what it was. These white guys, some with very European names, were skating around with sticks, chasing this black biscuit, trying to get in into this net that was guarded by a guy in a serial killer mask. I feel like I've seen it before, but it has been so long I forget what they call it.

It's called biscuit stick.

The Raid? Awesome.

No Hockey? Not Awesome.

At what point will the NHL fall and underground games start forming in abandoned warehouses? Im hoping soon because I cant be bothered with going to Europe or Canada just to watch a few games.

I love the lack of NHL. Forces some people to recognize that Canadian identity can survive without it.

Yeah, probably. Unless the Nickelback tour bus crashes into the Tim Horton's head office causing a massive explosion- then what you gonna do?

Nickelback isn't our thing. And I wouldn't wish ill on Tim Horton's. That'd be the death of our economy.
