Just managed to get the Oblivion Walker achievement in TESV, even though I have yet to reforge the dagger of Mehrunes Dagon. Ended up taking advantage of a glitch during Ill Met By Moonlight, where you get the choice of saving a werewolf from hunters to get the Ring of Hircine or kill the werewolf to get Savior's Hide.
I helped the werewolf escape, was given the ring by Hircine but then the werewolf walked right by me when he shouldn't have. I slaughtered him with Volendrung and skinned him for my 15th Daedric Artefact.
I must say that the quest to get the Ring of Namira is pretty grim.
I don't think you need every Daedric Artifact to get that achievement, just 15, and I believe there are 17 or 18 overall, and getting both from the Hiricine quest is probably counts for 2.
It certainly is.
That Oblivion Walker achievement is the last I've to obtain. I may wait a while longer then purchase the Dragonborn and Dawnguard DLCs. Thus getting myself back into Skyrim.
Oh that's right, you PS3ers are yet to get Dawnguard. That one has some really difficult challenges, like killing a legendary dragon (they don't appear until you're level 70 or something), and gaining level 11 Werewolf/Vampire abilities. Those are particularly hard because staying as a Werewolf/Vampire is not particularly advantageous in combat, but fortunately my game has a weird glitch where it claims my character has consumed a heart to progress his werewolf skills even though he's still in human form.

"Hi, Brother of Arkay. Follow me to a feast we are going to have in your honour..."
Most of the Daedric artefacts are pretty useless or underpowered, although I do have Volendrung and the Sanguine Rose close to hand on all occasions as well as Azura's Star and the Masque of Clavicus Vile.
I saved that jive fool's ass and slaughtered the Namira gang.
If you're into playing as a werewolf the
Ring of Hiricine is crucial, and the
Saguine Rose is great for summoners.
Volendrung is a nice artifact until you are able to craft daedric and dragon bone (and perhaps even ebony) weapons and stick two enchantments on them.
Mehrune's Dagger is great for stealth characters with a penchant for double dagger usage, and
Azura's star is a must for anyone with any interest in enchanting.
Oghama Infinium is easily the best artifact as it gives you +5 points across an entire skill type (Warrior, Thief, or Mage).
The Mace of Molag Bal has two very good enchantments and is tied with dragonbone mace for the most powerful one handed weapon,
Dawnbreaker is phenomenal at getting rid of the undead,
Ebony Mail provides terrific defense while muffling the user and causing poison damage to anyone that tries to hit you with melee damage, and
Spellbreaker will block against both physical and magical attacks. And you have to give it back, but obviously the
Skeleton Key is an awesome asset.
That leaves the
Wabbajack, Skull of Corruption, Savior's Hide, Ebony Blade, Masque of Claudius Vile, and
Namira's Ring for the less useless Daedric Artifacts.
I'm going to have do disagree with you on your original stance, Barbosa.

Along with the Skeleton Key, it was the one quest I was tempted to not complete. Barbas the Virtually Invincible Dog is a better Daedric "artefact" than the Masque
He's so annoying though, with his constant whining and what not.
