Give One Fact About Yourself.

I'm still learning to cope with it and its hard. I've been told by my therapists that i'll probably be on meds for the rest of my life. I consider you lucky because there are times when the disorder is a real bitch to deal with. If I could get rid of it or trade anything to get rid of it I would.

I have a young daughter which is possibly the only reason I dont kill myself. If I keep myself busy I'm ok. It's when I'm on my own it's hard. My daughter goes to her mother's at weekend's so there the worst. But I've had it for so long it's just part of everyday life. I would'nt know what it's like to not be like this.

to Y 2 Jake

I'm 19 and i've a good part of my life in and out of treatment and therapy and now that i'm in college, I want to move on, start a relationship with someone, and maybe have a family in the future. I find it hard to relate to people on a social level, but I am improving. I don't know many people with the disease I have and all the people I have known are all different ages who live around the country, so i don't get to talk to them. Since you are close to my age and suffer from a similar disease and have already experienced things that I hope to experience (dating, marriage, kids etc.) do you have any tips? Any pointers that might help me in the future?

I'm not sure. I'm just really laid back. I have a dont give a fuck attitude, which can get me into a lot of trouble. And the fact I've been divorced twice probably mean's that I'm unbearable to live with. I manage to hide it from my daughter though.

I'm kind of the same way only I get really arguminitive and I'm quick to anger and only recently I have learned to become less violent but as a result I have become more passive agressive.

I'm 17, 6'2 210lbs and will be attending a college in america next year on a football scholarship (a good feat considering i've been scouted, while living on the other side of the world). I bench 225lbs 14 times. Max squat 200kgs (dunno what that is in pounds, 450-500lbs?)

Woah that is a lot. You can't be serious though I don't think. I have heard that there are a lot of football scholars in America though, so it must be rewarding to get a good education for being good at football. That is pretty amazing that an American College has chosen you to go to their college if you aren't in the country. Must be pretty good then? But still, I don't really believe that you can lift that much.

lol thanks mate, i'll definitely take it as a complement. A team mate of mine accepted a 5 year scholarship to UH (university of hawaii) a year ago (Adrian Thomas) and i made through on the same tyes (although the college is uncertain as of yet) I was captain of the Australian National team when we toured the US, which is where the scouts orginally saw us.

And yeah, it's good to be able to lift as much as i currently can, i've been lifting for a little under three years now (my bro's a personal trainer) and although it sounds like a lot, as an american football athlete, it's about average. (as a weight)

Australian footballer? I have heard the AFL guys are getting a good go there but it is good to hear of that. Good luck mate as well because this sounds great, and I hope you show them what Aussies are made of. And also you will get to see wrestling when you are over there as well you lucky bastard! Hope you do well there because a lot of people would kill to be doing that.

That was very wierd. The spider part is not so unique though because I think we all don't really like the creepy crawlies, but I was a bit confused about the wet paper part.

Up here in Australia, we have really deadly insects and animals so we are used to seeing huntsman spiders in the corner of a wall, and they are pretty big. Just get them out with a broom because they can't bite. I don't think. I have to save my older brother every time there is any sort of insect in the house and he is afraid of birds as well.

But still. Wet paper? That's strange.

This reminded me of a Maury Povich show (don't ask why I watched it) where they brought out all these things that the guests had "fears" of, and some had fears of grass and milk and oranges and all other kinds of stuff that I don't think people would be afraid of but then again, there are some wierd ones out there.

Anyone else have any strange phobias, because I think everyone (except me) has something they don't really like and are fearful of.

I can honestly say that I'm not scared of anything. Maybe it's because I've not encountered it yet. Although I wont go in the sea if there's a possibility of shark's. That's not really a phobia, I'd just prefer not to have my leg's bitten off.

I agree, I'm not to fond of sharks either but I don't consider myself to have a shark phobia, in fact I have a mutual respect for sharks and I guess you can say I'm humbled by them.

I actually am a little claustrophobic at times because I like my space so to speak, and I have this habit of thinking that I am breathing in everyone elses breath over and over again at times. It gets annoying but I suppose I am stuck with it. Part of that came from watching Monk, because now I have second thoughts when I shake someones hand. Wierd though.

Ok, I now officially am never visiting Australia because those big spiders you speak of are scaring the shit out of me already. lol. And I am pretty sure that all spiders bite- so be careful!
Also, I would like to make it clear that wet paper doesn't scare me, it's just gross. Ya know, like when it rains and there's a piece of newspaper stuck to the street? Yeah, that's disgusting!

Well we don't get a lot of the really big spiders, but you can be assured that one will appear in the top corner of your room before you go to sleep once a month or so. There are a lot of daddy long legs spiders as well, and it is annoying when you are lifting something off the floor in the corner of a room and the spiders are all over it. We don't have the funnel-web spiders (most dangerous, lethal spider in the world) up where I am, but there are a few other dangerous ones, but I am not too afraid of them.

Well I suppose wet paper could be a little gro- nope, I can't seem to find what is really bad about it. Although picking up a wet newspaper or something isn't too fun.

One fact (to add to the topic) is that I am doing a maths assignment right now but I keep procrastinating and going on here. I am not too good at discipline in that area, but I mean trig functions and quadratic circles and capacity rules and sin, cos, and tan? Who needs to know this shit? I don't really care, so I am one that hates maths.

I love rap music everything about it but I also love southern rock its definitely the best music out there its classic my favorites artists are the clipse for rap and creedence for southern rock
