The Anonymous General Manager
So recently Vicky Guerrero got promoted/moved permanently to Raw, when did this happen? I must have missed the announcement that gave her the RAW GM Title. I knew she was the interim GM, but never saw the announcement. Did she just come out and announce she was promoted?
This brings me to my question, isnt there a better way to hire GMs?
Every time we get a new GM we get a McMahon to come out and say the new GM is then the music hits and the GM comes out? Based on what qualifications, didnt Regal get to be GM based on winning a battle royal. LOL!
I was thinking what if they made it an election. They could make it right around election time, make the GM position a two year run. With re-election possible and no limit on the number of terms. You could give out votes to the Superstars, Announcers, Other Talent, and lastly the fans. You have two or three possible candidates run promos a month or two before. You could even have debates and trial shows where the potential GMs get to make matches for the evening. You could tie this in with Cyber Sunday, have the winner announced on PPV to increase buys.
The main issue I have been able to think of is that fans will most likely vote for a face GM rather than a heel GM. But definitely think the idea is worth a shot. Better than being forced to watch Vicky be GM. It would give fans a reason to tune go online to vote, text their vote, go to live events to vote.
