I'm going to get Zelda on Wii U.

Just the more I watch the Mario trailer teh more intrigued I am.

Fire Emblem Warriors seems like a great mix.

SM Odyssey does seem to be a bit of everything.

Could it be something of an homage to various Mario games of the past - Galaxy, Luigi's Mansion, 64 - plus something new in the 'real' world?

I doubt that I will be getting it anywhere near launch. Perhaps a summertime buy.

Not sure what I will do with regards to Zelda. One of my reasons for holding off on the Switch is that I won't have time to play it until the summer so I wouldn't have time for Zelda on the Wii U either.

Perhaps wait until say July and then go mental with a Zelda Kart Odyssey Switch.

Glad to see FIFA making an appearance too.

Yeah I was a bit disappointed by what they showed.

$300 isn't absolutely horrible but if I can get Zelda on the Wii U then I can afford to wait on the Switch until the library develops further.

The battery life was a major concern when going with the handheld for me, it appears my worries were justified.

Just get a portable charger. I have one for my phone because it doesn't last that long when I'm playing on it constantly.

I cannot understand any hate on the battery life.

2.5-6 hours depending on the game (apparently 3 hours for Zelda) is rather awesome, when you consider you're playing complex High Definition video games on the damn device.

And if you can't deal with it, it uses a USB-C charger, get one and plug the damn thing in.

I'm going to Gamestop to preorder it when they open tonight, that is if I can still get a launch day pre-order.

Preordered a neon system along with Breath of the Wild and a LoZ case at Gamestop yesterday. I for one enjoyed the presentation; it gave me high hopes for the future and was presented with little to no fluff.
BotW will be amazing no doubt, but it's easily understandable that people would rather get it on the Wii U and wait on the new system.
1 2 Switch and ARMS look fun for what they are. No way in hell I will pay $50 or $60 for em, but I'm interested.
Super Mario Odyssey was probably my favorite trailer aside from Zelda. Can't wait.
FE Warriors? SMT? Xenoblade 2? So much yes. RPGs are love, RPGs are life.
FIFA is FIFA, meaning I'm total shit at it but it's fun to me anyway.
I love Bomberman, excited for a new title.
Puyo Puyo Tetris looks like a fun puzzler.
MK8 Deluxe? It all depends on what exactly has been added, otherwise I will stick to the Wii U version.
Skyrim portable. I can dig it... Although admittedly I liked Oblivion better.
And I'm eager to see what else is in store. The next Pokemon game, perhaps a Monster Hunter game, Kirby at some point...

I typically wait a year or two before buying new consoles anyway, plus Nintendo has a bad habit of releasing a limited stock at launch, see NES Classic for the most recent example of this stupid shit.

So I pre-ordered my Launch Day Switch, the grey Joy-Con one.

Debating getting the Master Edition of Breath of the Wild. Master Sword statue looks awesome.

probably will get 1-2-Switch as well. As soon as I saw it thought Wii Sports, and think it should be a Pack-in game with the console. Slight disappointment it isn't.

I've never really understood collector's editions myself - it normally seems an excuse to get me to crowd my room with plastic tat for double the price of just the game.

Will probably give the Switch 6 months before I seriously consider purchasing (Buyers remorse from purchasing the Wii U at launch, though it's library had some gems eventually.)

I still have fond memories of spending hours downloading the first trailers for Twilight Princess. Watching those trailers again and again, counting down the days until I could play it. I'm sure the new game will be sensational and I hope the console is a runaway success.

I'm the biggest Nintendo fanboy on this forum and I'll be waiting until at least October. Breath of Wild is the only game out in that time I'd want and the only difference between the two versions is graphical.

I used to be the biggest Nintendo fanman myself. Nintendo-Super Nintendo - Nintendo 64- Wii , Wii U , but Xbox and PlayStation have turned me to the dark side and the only thing that could turn me back to Nintendo would be a serious gimmick free console that could compete/surpass it's competition. Sadly, that's not going to happen anytime soon and Nintendo will remain in a distant third place in the big three.

In terms of actual game developers, I'm not sure there's anyone in the world comparable to Nintendo, particularly since Valve went on an extended holiday to *********e over their mountains of cash. Nintendo might not be able to compete in terms of graphical fidelity or framerate but they produce the best games in the world. If they can fold their portable and home console content into one console, they've got a beast on their hands. That's why I will eventually get a Switch, I'm sure, just not when the list of games I want on it that aren't already on Wii U reads:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6. It's got a Mario coming out, right?
7. The one in New Donk City.
8. Yeah. I'll wait for that.
9.
10.

I'm very excited about the Kingdom Hearts remastered Ps4 versions coming out next month. I was always hoping they would be added to the playstation store or something.

Did any blood come out of your ears and eyes after an hour? I'm asking before I slap down $800 for a set of goggles for a game that would give me a migraine. It looks awesome though.
The only thing that came out of me playing this game was piss. But no, I did get a bit of a headache Friday or Saturday, whichever it was where I played a few hours straight with it (even though I knew I shouldn't have, I was very into the part of the game I was on at the time). I was fine otherwise.
The jumpscares are so much better, too, when they're happening mere inches from your face as opposed to whatever distance between you and the TV would be. I also love turning my head and getting scared shitless as opposed to moving the right analog stick.

After playing an emulator on my cell phone for the Nes, I'm surprised the Wizards and Warriors franchise didn't live on to the next generation consoles. Wizards and Warriors is still a great game to this day, catchy music and all.
