I swear it took me a few days before recognizing what it meant.

Oh, and the Navy (well, Navy Times to be precise) just sunk the XBOne. Yes I went there.

Oh I still call it XBone too (prospective users will be called XBoners). But it took me about 4 days before realizing Xbone was an abbreviation of XBox One. I spent a few days wondering what the hell an XBone was.

What's worse is the sheep buying this thing at launch are under the impression that they're the smart ones this gen. Why is it that people will believe someone's not extremely bias about something when they say that they're unbiased? It should be human nature to question intentions shouldn't it?

I got into a facebook argument with a couple of my co-workers on why the xbone is the worst financial decision they could make. and all they could tell me was "it's my money" hurrrrp derp yea it's your money. yea you can waste 500 bucks on a console riddled with restrictions. Shaking my fucking head.

There's not even any reason to stay an xbox user anymore, the lack of backwards compatibility ruins the excuse of "I'm going to buy it because I want to play new games and also have a platform to play my old games if my 360 were to break" and Microsoft wiping your Microsoft points when they expire and switch to real money stops people from using the "I have x amount of money on the Microsoft accout I'll lose if I switch" argument. When I point this out to people they come back arguing that they'll lose all their gamerscore and that makes them sad - what's the point of having gamerscore for games that you can't play?!?

There are people who will go out and buy things without reason, research and without considering any alternatives. These people are worse than uninformed, worse than misinformed, these people are idiots.

It's a step in the right direction though I'd still like to see them knock the price down & allow you to turn off the creepy Kinect camera. That said I'm still firmly on Team PS4.

Well, that was pretty much the story of this generation, except the Orwellian spyglass was optional. Price is the major sticking point for me, so chances are if I'm inclined to get one at launch, it'll be the PS4 with an XB1 coming at a later date. Microsoft really did a number on themselves. Those features added nothing for the consumer, and to basically flip everyone the bird when called out on it was inexcusable.
