Gamers unite -HQ

I just got Max Payne 3 and Dragons Dogma, both are really good games. I'll go into more depth if anyone wants me too.

I'm reallllllllllllly fucking jealous of Captain Morgan Freemans "to do list", What I would give to be able to experience those games again for the first time.

Okay then, Max Payne 3 has a quite unique and enjoyable way of telling you it's story by having Max narrate what your are doing in the game as your doing it, if your taking your sweet time doing something he will chime in and say something like "I know I should be chasing those guys down but for a moment but the nerves hit me and I hesitated for a minute". The gameplay is classic Max Payne, you jump around in slow motion while shooting people in the face and avoiding bullets, nothing new, yet improved in pretty much every way.

It's the multiplayer of Max Payne that really imopressed me above everything else, I had a lot of doubts about how R* would intigrate bullet time into the fray, something which really could have made or broke the game, fortunetly it's a joy to behold. There really isn't a feeling comparable to when you've jumped out of a third story window in slow motion backwards while killing the guy who had jumped you and then kill another before you hit the ground and die. The games seem to be almost lag free, I've yet to see anything to say otherwise. The game also includes several perks, accessories, and clothing items to make your avatar incredibly unique and stylish whist your kicking some ass.

Do you care about Dragons Dogma?

EDIT: Didn't proof read and don't care too. :p

Max Payne 3 is a game that when it was originally announced, I didn't care about at all. The closer it came to release, the higher my interest was. It seems to be getting good reviews so I'll be sure to add it to my list of games to check out.

I care about Dragons Dogma only because I know very little about it.

I've been getting a sudden urge to replay the Dead Space games again. Both games were crazy good when it came to setting and making the dark and gritty story.

Right I've decided to download emulators to play all my old Metroid games in order from Super Metroid(Wasn't mine but i did play it at a friends when i was like 5) to Zero Mission.

So when is the Sony, Nintendo and inferior presentations at E3? Do they usually occur on the last day?

Nintendo's is Tuesday 5pm UK time but they have a pre E3 presentation tonight at 11pm.

Microsoft - Monday 9:30 AM (PST) 5:50pmUK time

Sony - Monday 6:00 PM (PST) 2am 5th June (UK time)

Usually i'd watch them via stream, but because of the pointless fucking holiday I have to work, and people wonder why I hate the royal family.

Yeah I mention that with the NFC technology, it's been rumoured since after Skylanders was released but it's been such a strong rumour I wasn't surprised to see it happen.

I must of missed that. I have to say before last week i was totally indifferent to the WiiU(still a stupid fucking name, I get it has brand recognition but it'll another case of 3DS) but the announcement of the Pro pad, and the online services are looking very promising.

I had a great chat with my friends boyfriend about the WiiU the other day and he was talking about rumoured specs and how they won't measure up the the PS360s next consoles to which I just said "If I wanted to buy a console for graphical prowess I'd buy a PC".

I actually believe consoles are shitty PCs(especially the PS3 & 360), just with less customisation options. Although I do only have a PS3 right now, but that's only because it caters towards my tastes and needs more overall. I also think the Wii U(with it being HD) will have the best visuals when it comes to the next generation just because most of the better games Nintendo release are very colourful as opposed to the dark(colourwise) games that this generation has been defined by.

The only worry i'd have right now from a consumer standpoint is, will developers do what they did this generation when the Orbis and Durango are released, and kind of forget about the console because it will be less powerful. I say that because 3rd party developers could have ported almost every game this era to the Wii, but because of the consoles limitations they didn't bother with it nine times out of ten.

There's a resemblance there, for sure. Question though: Would "tenuous" be a better adjective?

I've been thinking of getting a Wii when I get back from holiday. I basically want it for Smash Bros., the Mario Galaxies and maybe a few Gamecube games. I personally prefer Double Dash to Mario Kart Wii. I might pick up a Wavebird controller, a triwing screwdriver and replace the 'nub' with a stick from the nunchuck.

I've seen they are finally adding a internet browser to the 360, and a few more "channels". Honestly I can say i'm not really looking foward to anything from Microsoft now.
