For those who don 't know:

Street Fighter x Tekken = SF game engine.

Tekken x Street Fighter = Tekken game engine.

Mass Effect 2 on my PC in 1080p, gonna make a quick run through the game to prep for ME3.

Ninja Gaiden 3.......shifted to the Gamefly stockpile. I have yet to finish the 2nd one, not prepared for the mental hell that the first Ninja Gaiden put me through initially.

SSX, don't care. SF vs. Tekken, I might check into it, I'm having too much fun with Capcom vs. Marvel 3 as my fighting game of choice at the moment, which considering I haven't picked up Soul Calibur V yet, it's lucky to be hanging on by a thread still.

Otherwise still running through a lot of Kingdoms of Amalur. I think I've put a small dent into it so far.

I hate you and your amazing computer.

It's not even that cutting edge, it's more of a mid range gaming PC if I may be brutally honest, but powerful enough to run games like a champ.

Other random thought of the day: Android Tablet or PS Vita? I got a $50 gift card to Best Buy that I got for Christmas, and my tax return coming soon. Tablet would be more functional, but I'm a sucker for adding another gaming device to my collection.

I think I'm dropping the idea of buying a tablet. I already have a Chromebook if I need absolute mobility (I may look into cracking it and putting Linux on it).

So now I've come down to a Vita or a 3DS. The Vita is really tempting with its hardware, but all the proprietary bullshit pisses me off and adds a ton to the bill ($30 for an 8 gig memory card, a game costs $50, I'm looking at $330 minimum and that's just for the system and one game. So really my gift card would get me a game for the system.) Meanwhile the 3DS will still be able to run my Acekard2i so I can bring over all my DS roms to it. Plus the system after my gift card would only be $119.99, leaving me plenty of cash to pick up some games that are cheaper.

I'm thinking 3DS.

Good choice Ty, I've played (briefly) on a Vita, they are very nice machines. For me though there's nothing that makes me want to buy it until Little Kings Story 2 comes out.

Yeah 3DS is the way to go at this point. I can give my old DS to my daughter (I got a spare Acekard sitting here) since she steals it from me all the time anyways. Plus the Vita is a media powerhouse sure, but my phone does all that, and with 32 GB of storage, which I have on me 24/7 so the media stuff for the Vita is a moot point especially since I can't use the 12 micro SD cards I have sitting in my office.

This is the same as my computer. Has all it needs to play all the best games but was far from expensive or top of the range

Better than my piece of shit. I'd prefer a better one. I really want to play Amnesia.

I've been hearing a lot of good things. You know there's a demo up on PSN and XBL, right?

Yeah, I played the demo for a fair amount of time. I remember my friend and I were constantly beating each others scores and times. And getting rewarded for it. From the looks of it, leaderboards are going to actually have a huge impact on your friends lists. Yay.

Finally caved and got Skyrim. About to start it up. Never played any of the Elder Scrolls games, I hope this is able to capture my attention, not much of a LOTR Dungeons & Dragons type of guy.

The soundtrack in SSX is pretty solid, but I'm holding out for Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD for my Xtreme Sports game.

I can see myself getting a Vita eventually, but not anytime soon. I like the Vita's launch line up, as well as launch window games, but I worry about what future games will come out for the system now that initial sales numbers from the UK & North America are rolling in.

I do like the fact that I could play most of the PSN games that I've downloaded for my PS3 on the Vita, and that I will be able to play certain games on the PS3, and then put my save file on the Vita and continue while away.

Had never played an Elder Scrolls game before Skyrim and now I have racked up 70 hours of gameplay and still have not visited over half of the map or come close to completing the main story
